About the host
Hosted by Kathleen Curran
I am an inveterate traveler myself so I value having a comfortable place to rest while on the road.
My home is a compact gem constructed in 1925 and it proudly showcases those little touches of the by-gone time such as gumwood crown moulding and built-in china cabinets and hardwood floors.
You will see some of the treasures I have collected from all over and have incorporated into daily use. Please feel free to enjoy them- as gently as you can please.
We may never meet- I have trusted friends who serve as Hosts and they are wonderful resources if you are curious about the area or if something goes amiss with the property.
Please feel free to ask anything you like of me and, if I am in e-shot, I will gladly reply as best I can.
Why they chose this property
You can't beat the location if you want to be near UC Berkeley or want to be near San Francisco but do not wish to pay to stay in it. Or just want a more relaxed environment.
What makes this property unique
The nearby Berkeley Bowl is a grocery store that I just love. And that is a very big reason why I picked this area to settle in. And the weather is so much better than it was in SF of course.
