This Bay Front upgraded two-bedroom, two-bath condo is the perfect place to live the Mission Beach lifestyle on beautiful Mission Bay. The Pacific Ocean is less than a minute walk. Located on the second floor, the roomy balcony offers a nice view of the boats and water. Use the BBQ as you watch the boats sail on the bay, or watch the sunrise over bay with your morning coffee. There is both a stairway and an elevator, so you get to choose your access to the condo.

With nearly 1200 square feet of living space, there is plenty of room for one or two families to enjoy the vacation that you deserve. Belmont Park is a ten-minute walk, and you can drive to Sea World in five minutes. The hip Gaslamp District, Downtown, Petco Park, and the airport are just a 10 - 12 minute drive, as is luxurious La Jolla, home to movie stars, artists and a large family of baby seals.

Mission Beach is San Diego's best beach, for both kids and adults, there is something for everyone. Book now for a great time in beautiful Southern California.

It was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The only real issues were black hair on walls in master shower/bath. Also, much of the silverware was dirty with food on it.Enjoyed balcony with coffee in the AM and watching the business.

The location was perfect for both the paddleboarders and surfers in our group. The only negative was at night in the secondary bedroom you could hear every word anyone spoke outside,even if the window was closed . So if you are a light sleeper snag the master bedroom! Communication with owner/manager was excellent . Every silly question I had was answered within24 hours.

Great location in Mission Beach

Convenient to the beach and restaurants, but facing the bay, which means much less wind. Second floor balcony is right over the walking/biking path, so lots of activity. Second bedroom has 3 separate beds, which is ideal for a larger family.

We loved the close proximity to the beach and bay, as well as restaurants and shopping. Parking was the only minor “issue” but we managed. The property size, location and amenities were exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay here again.

Great condo on Mission Bay!

We’ve stayed at this condo a couple times, and love it! The location can’t be beat…right on the bay and near shops/restaurants! The condo is spacious and clean!

Lovely family vacay in MB, too short…

The condo was great for our needs. While we could see a few things that could benefit from some upgrading, 1) the location was fantastic (both to bayside and back to coffee & restos on Mission), and 2) Dave and his team made it easy & clear to check in and out. The value is great and we would definitely stay here again (and recommend to other families with small kids).

We enjoyed our stay. The pluses: The unit is laid out well, everything works correctly, the kitchen is nice, and the location is ideal for enjoying the bay, the ocean beach, or Mission Beach attractions. The cons: there's some road noise from being at the entrance to the Santa Clara point and associated parking, every painted surface for the unit (walls, trim, and doors) needs repainting.

Wedding Weekend

The location was convenient to the venue and other family members staying in the area for the wedding. We did not spend a lot of time at the condo, but would note that there is road noise to the recreation center. The condo was clean, but as stated in other reviews - is in need of updates. There were broken/missing blinds, warped flooring, old shower heads and a musty smell throughout.

Comments and recommendations

The best thing about the property is that it is located in the middle of the action. Also halfway and walking distance to Belmont Park. Great people watching local and close to the public parking lot. Also the ocean breeze was uninterrupted. Abundance of cool ocean breeze. I thought that I was going to be uncomfortable because that is no air conditioning. But I was very comfortable. At time I was cold. Also great that there are two bathrooms. The kitchen was updated and well stocked. Great. However, the condo could benefit with a little TLC: fresh paint; new bed sheets: updating the bathrooms and maybe an electrical lock. I was always concerned that I would lose the keys. Finally, very roomy and good size.

Not exactly how it’s pictured

While my family had a nice stay, this property leaves a bit to be desired. The view out of the balcony is of the Aquatic Center’s parking lot. The only way you can see the Bay is by stepping into the far north corner of the living room and looking south. Because of this, having the doors open just means you’ll be hearing parking lot sounds. Additionally, the fireworks are not visible from this unit. There is a tree just to the right side that blocks any view of Seaworld’s show as well as the Mission Bay show. The unit itself is spacious, but overall rundown. The walls in throughout have cracks, scrapes, and look dingy. The bathrooms have vanity doors hanging on their hinges, rust stains, and missing caulking/grout. The beds were not comfortable and the sofa was also broken down in several places. Getting the slider screen and door open or shut was practically impossible, which seems dangerous, as that is the way in and out of the stairway, if you choose not to use the elevator. The plus sides were the breeze that flowed thru the unit and the larger than normal parking space that our minivan fit in no problem! We did not spend much time inside the condo so our stay was adequate. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone in the future.

Though it was very clean, the unit smelled of mildew, especially in the living room. Probably due to no air conditioning. Also, geographically the location was ideal since it was centrally located. However, the noise level morning, noon and late into the night was a bit tough.

Amazing location overlooking Mission Bay. Literally, a 2 minute walk west to the beach (only delays are caused by a street crosswalk ;) ). Walking distance to a myriad of restaurants and other businesses (groceries, bakeries, yoga, a gym, etc.). Because of the location close to the recreation areas on the Bay and being close to the high traffic area of the main street and boardwalk, expect noise throughout the day. Kitchen is roomy and is stocked with the basics - just make sure you bring all the consumables you may need including resuable storage containers or plastic baggies. Check-in and out were SO easy. Instructions were clear. Having the keypad entries for the stairs and the elevator give an extra sense of security for a busy area and made access easy. Dave was an attentive host and when there was an issue, he responded in a timely manner and worked to make sure it was resolved quickly. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location. Needs a deep clean and an update. If I were a renter, I’d have coffee to offer guests as there is a coffee maker, but no way to make it unless you bring your own (which I did not do because I honestly thought for the price we paid, coffee would be a given). I could not get the barbecue to work but was able to pivot and make what I needed to in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. What you’d expect from a rental; knives aren’t sharp, cutting boards are stained, teflon isn’t non stick anymore.. People suck and abuse things in rentals which is unfortunate as it is a fully functional kitchen-but you have to buy/bring EVERYTHING you need to make a meal. Absolutely LOVED the location. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch people go by.

Great Location

Great beach location. We are from East Coast, first time visiting San Diego. We wanted to be centrally located but not in City and this was perfect! 20-30 min from Airport, Zoo, City and 5 minutes from Sea World. We did go to some wineries about 40-50 minutes away. This condo is on Bay across from a very small cute banquet venue. We saw 2 beach weddings while there. So yes it is noisy, lots of activity but really nothing past 11p. Pretty quiet. It was nice to sit on balcony and people watch. Not sure how would be at peak season but again it’s a beach town.Only thing was there was a musty smell but contribute to location and maybe not rented prior. Opened windows, air freshener and it was fine. It had everything we needed, though a little older but again a Beach House lol so we don’t want fancy;) Beds were very comfortable and good shower pressure.There is a parking spot, busy road so getting in and out strategic. We noticed that the marina across the street has parking. Many would park and walk to beach which is maybe a quarter mile from condo. Belmont is about a 1.5 miles and marina a little farther. We walked there to catch an evening harbor cruise.

Amazing place and amenities

We were there for a wedding and multiple family events. It was the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. Clean and huge with so much space for all of us. The wedding venue was across the street and having a home base for all of us was perfect. I loved the added security of being on the second story with an elevator and code to access the condo. Also the parking was a lifesaver! David was great and when we arrived in town a few hours early he was so accommodating and we got to go right to the condo. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home, we look forward to visiting again soon!

Location, location, location!

This property is on the bay side of Mission Beach. Cross Mission Boulevard and you are at the beach in less than a 5 minutes walk. The aquatic center is just down the street. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk on both the bay and ocean sides of the boulevard. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop are within walking distance. Super markets are a short car ride away. Easy to get to Sea World and the Zoo. The property was well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host David was very communicative and helpful. The beauty of this location is that you are in good proximity to enjoy the great outdoor activities San Diego Mission Bay has to offer.
