It's definitely an older place but clean, cozy and safe for 2 older ladies.Great location with easy access to cafes, boulangeries, shops, Notre Dame, and, the Marais.Very good communication with the owner with any wants or needs.Highly recommend. Location is its primary asset. The apartment is funky but adequate. Nothing deluxe or fancy, for sure. It could certainly benefit from nice little extras, like a soap dish in the shower, a bright enough reading light to read in the bedroom, better silverware, nicer towels (they're almost paper thin), and fixing the slow drain in the bathroom sink. But the location is wonderful - on a cute little street in Marais- a wonderful restaurant across the street, a superb boulangerie in the block, and a good food store and the Metro100 m away.

Great place!

Loved this place! Old but clean and perfect location and spacious. Very safe, with 2 locked gates. Fridge, washer, WiFi. It was perfect for the 3 of us adults.

Great location. Excellent and easy communication with host. Unfortunately it was quite noisy throughout the night with people coming and going. Due to restaurants below cigarette smoke could be smelt in the apartment at times, however this is not the fault of the host. There are steps up to the first floor to be aware of if you have international suitcases.

Need blockout curtains because of sensor lights opposite. Very noisy restaurant opposite and below. Cooking smells often from restaurant. Unchipped mugs would be a bonus.Owner should not be taking future clients through when we are still there. Not good policy.Great being on first level.

Overall the room is in a prime place everything is in walking distance, Louvre, Notre Dame and the canal ride. There's a couple groceries stores in walking distance everything works except I couldn't figure out the washer. No dryer. There's a set of stairs you have to go up no elevator. So if you have a lot of luggage just be aware. Sync works fine toilet works fine no air conditioning but there's a fan for each room. Would I rent again? Yes.

L'appartement est très bien situé dans le quartier du Marais. Accès au métro et plusieurs lignes de bus qui permettent de visiter tout Paris facilement.L'appart est assez sombre. Ses 3 fenêtres sans volet mais avec des rideaux donnent sur une cour intérieure où se situe le local à poubelles ainsi que l'accès aux autres appartements et les fenêtres de la cuisine d'un restaurant. Entre les gens qui déposent des bouteilles (dans la poubelle à verre) et/ou leurs poubelles très tôt le matin (6h), ceux qui rentrent tard et déclenchent les lumières des escaliers et enfin les odeurs du restaurant, ouvrir les fenêtres peut-être compliqué.Malgré les 2 ventilateurs fournis , on est obligé d'ouvrir la nuit sinon il fait trop chaud.Le lit dans la chambre est confortable par contre le canapé du salon ne l'est pas du tout.La salle de bain n'a pas de porte et est située juste devant une fenêtre, heureusement qu'il y a un rideau.La télé est bien avec connexion à des plateformes de streaming.Petit plus, les toilettes sont séparés de la salle de bain.

Toller Ausgangspunkt, um Paris zu erkunden

Gemütliche kleine Wohnung in einem der ältesten Fachwerkhäuser von Paris, etwas dunkel, aber perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Von hier aus geht alles zu Fuß, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Tipp: Man kann direkt vor der Haustür temporär mit dem Auto parken, um ein- und auszuladen. Einen noch bezahlbaren Wochentarif kann man im Parkhaus "Indigo Parking Pont Marie" buchen.

Paris - immer wieder ein Erlebnis

Die Wohnung ist ganz besonders zentral gelegen . Die Seine - Inseln, das Marais , Les Halles, das Centre Pompidou usw. - alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Zwei Metrostationen und Bushaltestellen sind ebenfalls in der Nähe, ebenso wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und ruhig - manchmal gab es abends etwas Unruhe wegen der Restaurants im Erdgeschoss. Ich habe mich in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt.
