Beach Fun

We had a short, but wonderful stay here. Easy comms with Cara and amazing location across from the snorkel beach. The condo was clean and well appointed, making our trip exactly what we were looking for

Cara’s place was perfect for our group of 4. Spotlessly clean, and located in a great location across from the water. We loved watching the sunset go down from the lanai in the evenings. Cara was a great communicator. She was kind, considerate, and responsive when we informed her of an unforeseen issue during our stay, and went above and beyond in her help. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect neighborhood and beach access location

The location across from the beach area and view while relaxing on the balcony was just what we needed. It is a three floor walk up to be clear. Nevertheless, you get a great feel for life on the island at this location.

Beautiful stay in Kona

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath penthouse was perfect for our 3 night stay in the area. The view from the lanai was gorgeous, especially the sunsets

Beautiful beach views, fun pool, and spacious property for family

We loved our stay in Kailua-Kona. The property was exactly as it is described and shown in the pictures. The lanai has a great view of the beach and is a perfect place to watch the sunset or listen to the birds when the sun comes up. It was really nice having a second bedroom and bathroom for our kids and they were obsessed with the turtle pool in the complex. The property was clean and lovely and had everything we could possibly need for our stay.

True home away from home in perfect location

We loved the condo and the location. It was very clean, well organized and stocked with everything we needed and more. The lanai opened to the living room and primary bedroom and had a beautiful ocean view. We truly liked the location, away from busy downtown of Kailua-Kona yet close enough to get there by short car ride or bike. The walk along the ocean site is so beautiful, we walked to the downtown one day and rented the bike back through bike sharing program ( the bike sharing station is next to the condo complex). We already make plans to come back next year.

You won't find better

Cara knows EXACTLY what she's doing! From location to condo design details to amenities to communication to check in - she's got it all down. Our favorite family-friendly snorkel park across the street, great views from the lanai 24/7. Everything you need is already here. Please respect her things as most owners don't include all the extras that she has. Book early as I'm sure this one books up FAST!

Great Condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The condo had everything we needed plus welcomed extras such as a sun shade and cooler for taking to the beach. We enjoyed walking across the street to go snorkeling whenever we wanted to. The pool area was very nice, and we enjoyed eating on the lanai each night. One slider door needs the seal replaced and the outdoor ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on. They had been replaced building-wide during our stay, and it seems like something went wrong during installation. I’d be surprised if it hasn’t been fixed since our stay. The management was extremely responsive and truly exceptional to work with. My only complaint was that when someone came to repair the washer, i indicated that we would require anyone entering the condo to be masked. The local person employed by the condo owner showed up at my door without a mask. I did give her a mask and she wore it, but then showed up again shortly later without it. That was disappointing. The management offered to pay if we chose to use a laundry mat, which was very much appreciated. We loved the condo and location, and we can’t wait to return!

Excellent location. We enjoyed our time near the shops and restaurants. A nice central location on the west side of the island. The condo was great and the location is convenient. The host is easy to work with. Only complaint is the noise. The traffic can be quite loud and the road is quite busy.

This is a very well appointed condo with a lanai directly overlooking one of the best snorkeling spots on the Big Island. My expectations were exceeded in almost every way. Plenty of kitchen items. I especially appreciated the snorkel gear and the leftover sunblock from previous visitors. The pool and grill were also awesome. One thing to be aware of is that, while you can hear the ocean from this unit, you can also hear the cars on Alii drive. For me, the beach view outweighed this downside but folks should know that you do hear cars when the windows are open.

Amazing location and host! We loved watching the sunsets from the lanai each evening.Cara's home is beautifully decorated and well-stocked with everything you need from a full kitchen, laundry supplies, and items for beach & snorkeling play at a fabulous beach right across the street. When we had an issue with a strange beeping noise from another unit on the property, Cara was very responsive and reached out several times to the HOA and other unit owners to find the source of the beeping, and itstopped within a few days (this occurred over Memorial Day weekend, and stopped on Tuesday - presumably when the manager returned to work).I would definitely like to stay here again -- five stars isn't enough to show how much we enjoyed it!

Fantastic place in great location.

Cleanest and most well stocked we’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful place with million dollar view. Close to everything. Fantastic snorkeling right across the street. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Couldn’t recommend more highly! Great host.

Beautiful spot and tons of amenities! The abundance of snorkel gear allowed us all to find gear that fit. Having Kahalu’u across the street meant daily snorkel opportunities.

Such a great place! Cara was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. The location right across the street from a fantastic snorkeling spot with gorgeous sunset views from the lanai can’t be beat. Condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. Would definitely rent again!

Everything included

Had an amazing stay and am already plotting our return. The place is super comfortable and relaxing, kitchen beautifully stocked and the view from the deck is sublime. Loved the location, Magic Sands beach ended up being my son’s favourite boogie boarding spot. Thanks for great stay.
