You will not go wrong here. 1st, Jill & Jed were always responsive to questions. In fact, they went above & beyond to locate a kayak rental facility when the one they recommended initially had a policy change and could not assist us. Additionally, they were very considerate of family members when the nearby town of Corea had a delayed community event. It did not impact our stay but their concern was appreciated. Additionally, they followed up with us after checkout as it was thought we left an item behind. Kindness abounds with these hosts! House is spotless. Had every item we could need including toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, spices, tinfoil, & all kitchen & cooking pots/pans. Loved the frig stocked with beverages, gift of coffee cake & jam. Nature everywhere including adorable 3 otter family, harbor seals, bald eagles, osprey, porcupine, snowshoe hares, chipmunk, red squirrel, deer, loons, ducks, seagulls, terns, crabs, golden finches, chickadees, Northern flicker, hummingbirds, robins, blueberries, & flowers. Memories were made with family game nights, smores by the fire, star-gazing, kayaking in harbor, fishing from rocks, gorgeous mornings on the deck, dinners off the grill, lobster feasts as the sun went down, and beds that were perfectly comfy! Nature, peace, quiet, beauty, and plenty of room for our family reunion of 9 people. Don't pass this place up. We'd love to return. Thank you for the perfect vacation.

We were pleasantly surprised that the property was even better than the photos showed. From the moment we drove down the tree lined driveway to the house sitting right on the coast we fell in love with the place. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and the location absolutely cannot be beat.

Amazing Coastal Maine Vacation

What a wonderful family vacation. The house and property are exactly as described and even prettier in person. Jill was so helpful and gracious. The fridge was stocked with beverages and some delicious coffee cakes which were much appreciated after a long couple days of travel. Our family had a fantastic time enjoying the views, climbing the rocks, and visiting the surrounding area for hikes, great meals and lasting memories.

Awesome getaway

Wonderful, quiet getaway on the water. This is an amazing house with all you want in a quiet retreat. Plus the owners were very generous in setting us up for a great stay. We were vary pleased and enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and beautiful.

We have stayed in places all over the world and the hosts for this place were the best. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hosts left a wonderful welcoming gift. It was extremely clean and the views from the back deck are like something you see on a postcard. We saw harbor seals, bald eagles, and various other animals from the deck.If you want to enjoy the beauty of Maine, this is the place.

Beautiful house with amazing views! Chose this property for my 40th birthday trip. The property owners are super responsive and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. They stocked the fridge with drinks and left a couple birthday gifts around the house for me. I can’t say enough positive things. Lots of stuff to do and plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from in the area. So glad we chose this one, hopefully we’ll be able to get back in the future!

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved staying here during our Maine vacation! After a busy day in Bar Harbor or Acadia, it was the perfect retreat to re-energize and plan for the next day. We hope to come back soon! P.S. - our daughter named the 2 bunnies that visit daily Clifford & George.

Great location, beautiful home

This VRBO experience was great. The house is well equipped and contained everything we needed. Lots of linens and towels and very comfortable beds. Our group of 9 never felt crowded, with so many different places to be, both indoors and outside. Highly recommended!

Perfect for families

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Lots of space to enjoy. For a family who plays lots of games, the game room was a real hit! Coffee on the rocks at the shoreline in the mornings and drinks on the deck at night were the perfect start and end to the day.

Property was as advertised. Nice and Peacefull neighborhood and a spectactular view of the Harbor. Jill our host was a ROCK STAR. We very much appreciated her leaving the lights on for us and the special anniversary treats. The house was spotless and was fully stocked with needed items. All of the room furnishings were very comfortable and nice.We especially loved the birds, the rabbits and our nightly Deer visitor.We cant wait to return.
