Welcome to our private stand-alone oceanfront home in a quiet, yet friendly gated community in the FL Keys! If you’re looking for a relaxing and low-energy getaway for your family, you’ve found the perfect place.

Consider a 14-day stay and receive an 8% discount OR 28-day stay and receive a 18% discount.

The ocean views from our home are breathtaking! Steps from your front door you'll find a place to dock your boat and a pier for watching the fish swim by or to throw a line in and try your luck at fishing. The dock is a great place to jump in and cool off! A neat place to snorkel too, but doesn’t compare to snorkeling out on the reefs. There are even steps down into the water and an outdoor shower to rinse off.

Our home features three levels with spectacular unobstructed open water views. The rooftop deck offers space for sunbathing, enjoying the sunset and stargazing.

3 Bedroom, 3 Bath:
- Master Bedroom: King Bed with full bathroom
- Second Master Bedroom: Queen Bed with full bathroom
- Third Bedroom: Bunk Bed (twin over full) and 2 twin beds (trundle)

Full gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. Comfortable living room with 55-inch HDTV. WiFi access throughout our home, and rooftop deck including the pool! High end washer and dryer available. You will find our home stocked with laundry and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags.

The elevator takes you to the first and second floors (the rooftop deck is the only area not accessible by elevator).

You can enjoy ocean views from both the hot tub and pool. The hot tub is completely private! The pool is shared with the other 13 homes in our private community, though it's rarely busy (except on some holidays) as most owners are absentee or occupied enjoying all the Keys have to offer!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
All towels should be washed and dried prior to leaving.
Do not leave any dishes in the sink or dishwasher. Please run the dishwasher and put away dishes prior to leaving.
Trash must be taken out on Monday and Friday evenings. This is so important there is a fee for not taking the trash out the last pick up prior to your departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
NO subleasing or sharing rental time with different groups. The person(s) on the lease must reside at the property while it is occupied.
NO more than 1 boat and 2 cars allowed on the property.
Security deposit is required at the time of booking for the rare event of damage or misuse and is fully refundable upon successful checkout.

We had to change our travel plans at the last minute and decided on the Keys. We are so happy we chose this place. The host was great to deal with. There were 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The elevator was a big plus to bring up suitcases and groceries. The views were exceptional with 2 balconies and a rooftop deck. A heated community pool and a private hot tub that was well maintained. There wasn't one thing that unit lacked, either in the kitchen, bathrooms or bedrooms. There were plenty of extras, laundry soap etc. We had a wonderful time, and we didn't have one problem. I would definitely stay here again.Thanks for a great vacation.

Everything was amazing. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Kids enjoyed the pool and the men enjoyed the dock to fish. The views were amazing and would love to consider staying here again! The elevator is a plus instead of walking the stairs. The house is beautiful the views are breathe taking when the sun comes up and goes down. Very well needed relaxation vacation.

Beautiful home in great location

Our family of 4 enjoyed the water views from every level of this beautiful home and the sunset views from the rooftop deck. The house is well-maintained and well-stocked. The indoor jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot tub were great amenities for relaxing after our excursions. The location is central to snorkeling, dolphin encounters and other FL Keys. We also enjoyed walking to get coffee, bagels, etc.

A gem!

Wonderful home in a beautiful location! Home was spacious, comfortable, furnished very nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would need. Pool area is small but nice and we had it to ourselves all week except for one time. Host was super helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend this home!

Vacation Oasis

Beautiful home nestled on the gulf, close to restaurants and stores, gift shops. It was hard to leave. We had family ranging from 13 to 83 (which the elevator was helpful for my mom). We all enjoyed every moment of the place. The private hot tub was a nice touch. We caught a few fish on the docks, was visited by a pod of manatees everyday. The house was very equipped with extra blankets, paper towels and toilet paper which was nice. Can't wait to go back.

Spring Break 2024

Beautiful location and the place was great. House was clean and nice in all aspects. We got lucky and had 5 great families staying on the street. Everyone fished together each night and had a great time. I think we caught 20 different species of fish off the docks. Plenty to do on Marathon and it’s an hour to Key West for the day. Hosts were commutative and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our favorites: Beach- Bahia Honda state park (beautiful, great snorkeling) Food- Island Fish Co Robbies was very fun but don’t go for the food

A perfect family vacation in The Keys!

Everything was absolutely amazing! This property is located right on the water with an amazing sunset view (you can also see the sunrise if you are an early riser!). We spent lots of relaxing hours by the pool and on the rooftop deck. This was our first trip to The Keys and found Marathon to be delightful. It was very laid-back, but close enough for a day trip to Key West. There are lots of great restaurants and a couple within walking distance. We spent almost every evening on the rooftop watching the sunset and walked to Conch Custard for ice cream. The property is just as described and accommodated all six of our group quite comfortably. Wish we never had to leave!

A great view of paradise!

This was a great getaway place for our family of 6 - (all adults). We had breakfast on the rooftop every morning. We used the pool and the hot tub multiple times. There are several places at the unit to eat your meals - either outside or inside. The views are incredible -- we saw sunsets from a few different places while we were there and the sunset from this property rivaled them all. Marathon was a very nice place to stay - it was easy to take a day trip to Key West. There are a Walgreens and Dollar Tree very close to the property so keep that in mind when planning your grocery shopping. We could have saved a lot of $$ over buying everything at Publix. Highly recommend this property. You'll have a great time.

A slice of PARADISE!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My family took a birthday trip to the Florida Keys and stayed for a week at this beautiful villa in Marathon. The pictures tell it all, the view is amazing, location is right on Vaca Cut Gulf side, easy in and out and so convenient to shops, dining and activities. The villa is nicely laid out with plenty of space for all. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and plenty of bath and beach towels to go around. There were so many extra amenities like beach chairs and umbrella, travel cooler, fishing rods, etc. The owner was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had during our stay. We loved having our private hot tub with the view of those turquoise waters. We also saw plenty of ocean wildlife, manatees, dolphins, stingrays, fish, etc. We were able to dock our Sea Fox 27 foot rental boat steps from the home in a dedicated private slip. The elevator was a big plus and helped us with getting our luggage, groceries and supplies in and out of the villa. We highly recommend this gorgeous oasis! Great location to explore the keys

Great central location to visit the keys. Right on the water, awesome views from living room, one of the bedrooms, and all 3 of the decks. Could see various marine life from dock out back and from decks. Maybe an hour and 10 mins to key west, went there twice. Under 10 mins to the Turtle Hospital, Dolphin Research Center, and Crane Point Hammock, enjoyed all of them. Enjoyed eating at the Key Fisheries(10 min drive), Island Fish Co.(10 minute walk). Owner needed to have new fridge delivered during our stay, it took two attempts by Home Depot so he said he would buy us dinner. I didn’t pursue that because it wasn’t a huge deal. He ended up sending us a check for $200 about a week after we got home, really appreciate that! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we come back to Marathon.

Great place!

Very nice place! Grab your snorkel gear and jump in right in front! We saw sting rays, a turtle, lobsters, parrot fish, and more just by standing at the dock! Hardly anyone was in the pool but us. The only thing I would say is that they ask you to wash the towels and dry them and to do the dishes and put them away before you go. I’ve stayed at several places and was never told to do that before I left. We found ourselves using paper towels in the morning to dry our faces and the wash and dry the coffee cups at 6 am so we can get to the airport. Rather inconvenient but we figured it out. Beautiful views from the roof and close to everything you need ( and super quiet)!

Between the incredible views and being far enough off US1 that its quiet, it’s really special place. Sorry you found the towels and dishes a pain, with an early flight, on the way out. We haven’t found a way to ensure the cleaning staff has enough time to cycle all the bedding through the wash without maintain this requirement. In a pinch, we do allow leaving the towels drying in the dryer. We were fortunate to have you as such great guests and hope you visit our place again soon!

Can't beat the view

love how tucked away this place is with gated entrance. house is super clean and the elevator makes it very convenient to get luggage and groceries from bottom floor to 3rd floor. sunrise and sunset can be viewed from rooftop which was amazing. the boat dock can be tricky with tide change and strong current. but i was able to get in and out of the dock with no issues over 5 days with a pontoon. Vaca cut is a great waterway to get to atlantic or gulf side quickly and the house is right on the pass through. I do wish the house wasnt next to the community pool. We are very private people and that was a little off putting having many people next to the house during the day. Also the community dock getting a lot of attention in the evening which reduces privacy. All in all it was a great stay. We love Marathon and its location to food and stores is less than 10 mins in any direction.

Growing up in Ohio and dealing with the long winter season, I was lured down to explore Florida. Stumbling on the Keys, I couldn't believe how incredibly gorgeous they were with the variety of flora and fauna. Temperate compared to the rest of Florida during the summer with clear warm waters and it is usually the warmest place in the US during the winter. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, island life, dining, beaches, all with a small-town feel and all the comforts of the US! What's not to love?!

The desire to be part of the keys and spend more time here led me to buy my first place in 1997. One of the best parts is sharing the experience with others. This led me to share my home with others for the last 20 years!

Why they chose this property

This location is especially amazing. Located steps from the ocean, close to Vaca Cut provides incredible views, gorgeous water with so many fish swimming under the dock that it feels like an aquarium! We really have it all: Dock, pool, oceanfront view, comfort, all in a small gated community of 14 other newer homes. There is nothing else like it!!
