The location of the house was perfect for my needs. The apartment is EXTREMELY small. The entire kitchen is 3' X 5', with a 2-foot deep counter, so cooking with anything but the microwave was difficult. The apartment would be a better fit for 1 person than for 2. Because it is SO small and the kitchen is basically unusable I feel the apartment was overpriced (with the extra fees added at the end, we were paying almost $200/day for something the same size or smaller than a hotel room, without hotel amenities.

A charming property
The studio was perfect for my needs. It was well appointed, clean and quiet, especially for its ideal location in the city. Joy was a wonderful and kind hostess who made her beautiful garden available to all guests. There were other guests on the property, but it was arranged so that they were not at all disturbing. I would happily stay there again. A particular plus was the easy availability of public transportation to anywhere in the city of Seattle.

This was everything I needed it to be. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood.
I came here for my son’s graduation and this was a nice quiet, comfortable place to stay. Honestly did not spend much time in the apartment but when I did I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our stay is very pleasant and relaxing.
This is our 3rd visit and longest stay to Seattle. So, we decide to stay at Airbnb and also the first time to try the Airbnb as well. The Revenna Studio is located at a very quiet neighborhood with walking distance to bus stops, restaurants and grocery stores. The studio itself is very nice decorated with a small living room at entrance. Bathroom and kitchen are equipped with all the essential needs. The ground is beautiful. I can imagine myself doing BBQ during the summer time here. The studio is close to UW with 5-10 minutes drive to UW campus and University Village. The nearby Warren Magnuson Park is a must visit destination which is only 10-minute drive and is right beside the Lake of Washington.
Our landlady, Joy, a local resident and a very friendly and nice lady. She gives me some tips and backgrounds about the neighborhood which is very helpful. Overall, my wife and myself like the stay. The peaceful community and convenient location will lure us to come back again.

Cozy
My husband and I stayed in Joy's studio apartment for 12 nights while visiting our daughter and her family for Christmas. It was perfect for us as it is within walking distance of our daughter's home. The apartment is well equipped. The kitchen is small but was ok for us as we were only interested in being able to have our morning coffee. The apt is very clean and quiet and is in a great location. Very walkable neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.

A view of Mt Rainier, on a clear day.
I should have written this review months ago, and I apologize to Joy for not doing so sooner.
Yes, it was small and could have used updating but I knew from the pictures it was not the Ritz. It was clean, warm and dry, and efficient. It had everything we needed (minus the food) for our month in Seattle. For 2 of the 4 weeks I was the only occupant. During those two weeks, I had no concerns over my safety. The residential neighborhood was quiet, there was ample street parking and it was convenient to a variety of stores and restaurants. There was a good little restaurant 2 blocks away, with a bus stop on the same corner. Please keep in mind I stayed prior to the new addition so it was understandable that Joy would wait to do any updating.
I have only one complaint and it has nothing to do with accommodations but has everything to do with the ridiculous recycling regulations that Seattle has in place!
I will be in Seattle again and as soon as I have dates, I am looking forward to calling Joy to see if she has something available.

Cozy and comfortable
I stayed in this cozy studio for two months this summer (2015). It is small but had everything I needed for my stay. I prepared most of my meals in the small, but well appointed kitchenette. With a microwave, a toaster oven and a great single cooking gizmo for boiling water or frying eggs, the only thing I couldn't prepare would be a large turkey. I would have to make that in the new large gas barbecue grill provided on the large patio.
The bathroom was clean and comfortable with a large stall shower and plenty of storage for my "stuff". The queen bed was very comfortable. With wifi and a TV, I had all the entertainment I needed.
An addition to the cottage was constructed while I was there (with my blessing). This provides a separate space if two people are occupying the space.
The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained. It is convenient to UW, restaurants, shopping and the bus to downtown. I had a car for my stay, but the bus is two short blocks away.
I am a spunky Senior and I recommend the location very highly. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Best of all was the clear view of Mt. Rainer from the patio.

Unrealized Potential
This could be a cute and cozy little studio apartment with some repairs and updating. The good news – the location is in a great neighborhood, it is very close to the University of Washington and University Village shopping center, the bed is very comfortable, the garden would be lovely in the summer, and the owner was great to work with. That said, the unit is in serious need of update and repair. The kitchenette floor is painted plywood and the paint is wearing off. The walls have dings in them where the worn-out yard sale chair has banged against it. The ceiling is a couple of different colors. A number of little hand-written sticky notes alert visitors to things that are wrong (shower knob doesn’t work properly, can’t operate the hairdryer if the heater is on, etc.). The sad part is that for want of a very few hundred dollars for upgrades and repairs, this unit falls well short of its rather nice potential. As is, it does not rise to the standards we have come to expect from VRBO properties.
Response from VrboOwner on 13 September 2023
This Studio is full of potential and I appreciate the feedback. Thank you!
It is affordable, comfortable and attractive however its paint and update appointment is scheduled for June, when the current extended stay ends. The current guest accepted the Studio 'as is' and the chair was slated for replacement but I was asked that it stay.

Adorable and cozy!
I stayed in this cozy, adorable studio for a week over Christmas while visiting family. It's quiet, clean and and I had all that I needed to be comfy! Great spot for 1 or 2 people. There is a nicely appointed kitchenette, tv, and wifi. The neighborhood is quite charming and I enjoyed walking in the morning. I had a view of beautiful Mount Rainier from the deck just outside the door! The UW is near, as is University Village for great shopping and dining. Thank you Joy!

Peaceful and Cozy
Great little studio tucked away in a quiet and peaceful location. Perfect for the lone traveler or a couple. The studio was very clean and comfortable and it had everything I needed. The owner is very kind and always helpful.
Response from VrboOwner on 13 September 2023
I am so appreciative of my guests, particularily the amazingly kind and considerate guests from the vrbo and homeaway sites. Being able to provide a clean, beautiful place as a real "home away " has given me an opportunity to share the city I love and the neighborhood I adore and I know them well having grown up in the Ravenna neighborhood.
Thank you so much for being who you are, I feel very fortunate indeed!
