An outdoor shower will be available as well, which is great for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach.

Inside, this air-conditioned cottage has an open floor plan with majestic water views for days! Cozy up on the sofa and stream everyone's favorite movie or stand-up show on the smart TV and spend an entertaining evening at home. Or pull out any of the board games available and gather at the dining table for a thrilling (and not so friendly) game night. The kitchen is simply gorgeous with stainless steel appliances and light blue cabinets. The French-door fridge will keep your groceries nice and fresh during your stay and the dishwasher will come in handy when mealtime is over.

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms make this home perfect for large groups, families, and friends. All three bedrooms are equipped with a TV. The main bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with a standalone shower.

Great Location!!

Location on the beach was perfect! House was stocked well, although, I wish there were a few storage containers available. Check-in process was a little stressful as we didn’t receive all information at one time. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this property.

Lovely relaxing and beach oriented house

Loved the indoor and outdoor spaces and overall accommodations. View and access to the beach is perfect. If you’re looking for lots of activities, shops or restaurants next door, you can drive about 15- 20 minutes. But for us, this was ideal for our needs.

Beautiful Beach House

This beach house was just as described, sitting beautifully on the ocean. It had everything we needed to cook our meals at the house. It also had everything we needed for a great day at the beach. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and well kept. This was a trip we will always cherish!

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and right on the beach. My daughters loved being able to walk right to the ocean anytime the wanted. The house and nearby beach were nice and secluded but also well within driving distance to downtown Galveston and Seawall Boulevard.

My husband and I came down to stay for the weekend. We noticed a few differences in pictures than reality— the pictures were nicer and cleaner. For two nights and the price, it was ok, nothing to rave about. We have let the owners know of the few things that really stood out, so hopefully that can be adjusted for future guests.

Take washcloths and hand towels. We only had 2 each for entire stay. We did request more but never heard back. Otherwise, everything was great.

It was like having a private beach to ourselves! One of the best things was the patio for sure! There were a few things the house needed like more toilet paper, beach towels, stuff like that but overall we had a great time. The kids played at the beach and used all of the sand toys. There was plenty of space in the house for 7 of us. I will say I wish there was more storage to put clothes. The middle of the floor is also pretty warped so the main bathroom door was really hard to close. Maybe use a planer to shave off the bottom part of the door to close properly.

I asked repeatedly if we could modify the dates of our stay or get a future credit because there was a hurricane directly impacting the house. Nothing. No one was willing to budge. When asked what I should do, they basically told me to go kick rocks. There was a HURRICANE!!!! Nothing we can do about that. We decided, well we have it until Friday maybe we can stop get a few days out of it. NOPE! We had local family members who weren’t affected too badly try to go check out the house. Well you can’t even get to it! All the debris and flooding prevented anyone from actually making it to the property. I’m glad I had family close that could prevent me from driving 8 hours! But all we know the house isn’t even there anymore! VRBO and Vacasa can shove it where the sun don’t shine! Worst service I’ve ever had to deal with.

Great location but needs attention

The beach house had great views and was directly on the water. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the sun. We enjoyed the games and puzzles. Even with the record setting temps, the a/c worked great! Although the house was decorated nicely, it was not clean. Right away I contacted the mgmt team about the broken closet, outside locks that did not work, and uncleanliness. They offered to repair the closet which we declined because we didn’t want the inconvenience of it. And I already purchased cleaning supplies and had cleaned. If you have any sensitivity to dust, this is not the place for you. Be aware the bathroom off the master bedroom is VERY tiny. The mattress we’re not the best (the top bunk did not even fit and would be a safety concern for a small child). And if you’re one that likes to unpack your suitcase to settle in, most of the drawers are inaccessible as they’re full of extra sheets. The bath towels and sheets are of poor quality. I realize our complaints are mainly cosmetic, however with the cost of this rental we expected cleanliness and better quality. All in all our vacation was great, but we would not stay in this house again.

Great Location & View But...

Beautiful view of beach. The patio desk is wonderful. The weather was gorgeous, with a cool breeze. Wish we could have opened an window, or if the sliding door had a screen so we could enjoy the breeze and hear the waves. On the surface, the house is lovely, but looking closer, it needs some loving care. There are doors that stick, and floor planks are coming up. The large rug in the main room was curling up so bad we moved it as a hazard. (I have mobility issues) The entire house really (REALLY!!) needs a deep cleaning. (e.g., There's a bandaid...yes, a bandaid...stuck to the mirror frame. Too high for us to reach. Also several other stickers adorn the frame.) The tub and sink in the main bath has mold in the corners. There is lots of dust under the furniture and in the closets. The windows, window sills, door tracks, and baseboards are dirty. All the knickknacks need to be cleaned. The pots and pans needs to replaced and the appliances need cleaning. There are lots of games, which I'm sure is good for kids, but it's cluttered. The instructions in the "Welcome Book" didn't provide much information, such as operating TV, etc. (There were random remotes on the bookcase that appear to control nothing.) Yes, we had a good time, but that was mostly because of the view and proximity to the water.

Great Location!

We just spent 4 days at this beautiful beach house and had a great time. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room. We will be be coming back again and bringing the kids! Great location, right on the beach! Beds were comfortable and house had everything you could could need for a perfect beach vacation!
