We had an incredible honeymoon stay! The views from the suite were amazing, the space was spotless, and our host was communicative and responsive from booking through checkout. It was the perfect, peaceful start to our marriage, and we'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Pacific Northwest.
I happened to accidentally book the wrong night at the terra vista chalet, but was very happy to be able to work out a last minute stay at no extra cost. The customer service was very professional and willing to help. The pacific heights room is extremely spacious and comfortable and the property nestled in the woods. We saw plenty of deer and even a mama bear with a cub on our way out!Would stay here again.
We were in the Pacific Suite. The portable AC was greatly appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the view was great. Special place. Deer greeted us in the morning, they were not afraid of us and just hung out. Could have used a bottle opener, lol, other than that, we loved it.
Nothing beats the view! Beautiful setting with deer that greeted us daily.I missed that there was no kitchen when I booked this but we made it work. Wish we could have been given more paper plates, cups, and towels for a 4 night stay.Overall, we had a marvelous stay and would do it again!
Greeted by a beautiful herd of elk when we arrived. Location is very peaceful. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful views in both directions of the property. Enjoyed birding the area. Perfect spot for visiting Olympic and getting to the ferry.
The check in process was a bit challenging but that was more a function of my tech ineptitude and spotty cell service. The property is located in a beautiful mountain valley and is quite attractive. The room was spacious, clean, and smartly appointed. My only complaints are minor but worth noting. The larger sleeping area contained the bathroom and was only separated from the rest of the suite by a curtain, which made bathroom use at night awkward. Secondly, a small sink located near the fridge and microwave would be helpful. Lastly, we had four people in our party but there were only three paper plates, three sets of plastic utensils, three each of plastic and paper cups, and three sets of towels. Again, minor complaints that pale in comparison to the overall beautiful setting. The common room located on the first floor is spectacular with lots of games, puzzles, and a wonderful NW/alpine ambiance. We would stay here again!
The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do during our trip. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We especially loved watching all the mule deer right outside!
Located near Olympic National Park. Convenient to hiking Hurricane Ridge and Heart O' the Hills. Bucolic setting with access to Elwha River and covered patio for enjoying the outdoors after a hike.
Great home base for day trip through the national park. Nice restaurants within 10-15 min drive. Secluded, scenic, and tranquil. No tv and didn’t mind it at all. Nice time to slow down.
The suite was gorgeous! All the advice the hosts gave on some of the quirks of the property were spot on, and the directions were perfect. We’d definitly stay again!
The space was immaculate and welcoming. Sitting room was cozy with great views. My husband and I were in town visiting family and this was a great place to stay. The directions to the house were good, but we should have checked in sooner because it was difficult to find in the dark for us. But we found it by going slow.

Thank you, Wayns, for your wonderful feedback! I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the space welcoming. We appreciate your insights and look forward to hosting you again on your next visit!
It is a beautiful space - we felt like we could nearly touch the mountains from the balcony. While cozy for 4 adults, the views and shared spaces more than make up for that. My wife and I are probably going to look into openings around our anniversary - it is an ideal space for a couple. The proximity to Port Angeles was handy in terms of food options - and it is not terribly far from activities in the Olympic National Forest. All around great spot.
The host was excellent in communication . He explained how I could down load an apple map that would work when I was out of cell phone range. Views were great. One thing that is probably in the description of the unit I missed is the unit was on the 3rd floor. Glad I missed it as my wife has issues walking and with stairs. If I had noted the unit location that I would have passed on the unit and missed a great adventure. Saw many deer. We went out on the porch at night and saw spectacular stars. Great views were inhibited a bit by lights left on in the great room on first floor. I think they were on all night. If I were more ambitious I would have trekked down and shut them off. Bed was very comfortable, spacious bathroom. One complaint is there was no decaf coffee an no pot to plug in and heat water for tea. The cups for coffee were 1-2 stars at best. Just a side note we were taking a day trip from our VRBO in Bainbridge. The VRBO communication tool did not seem happy with that as I continually had problems. I also used my iPhone and my iPad and the two did not mirror each other. John the host was very tolerant of my communication limitations
