Amazing Views is Lake City's "Premiere" Vacation Rental! From its perfect location, to the absolutely amazing views and the lake cottage feel, you will love this home! Enjoy Adirondack chairs under the pergola in the summer and cuddle up by the rustic, red brick gas fireplace in the winter. A perfect home for every season. Just a block away from Ohuta Beach and the Marina.

This home is unique and special in so many ways. It is located just 65 miles southeast of the Twin Cities and 35 miles northeast of Rochester, MN (home to the Mayo Clinic). Lake City is a lovely 'seaside-like' town on Minnesota's South Shore of Lake Pepin.

Its cozy, New England Coastal style is sure to please the most discerning guests. It's a spacious 4 bedroom home that comfortably accommodates 2 to 10 people. The home has been completely remodeled with all new ceilings, floors, walls, windows, doors, mechanicals, bathrooms and a modern kitchen (stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops).

The spacious living room, dining room (with custom made farm house table) and kitchen are all open which creates a wonderful "Great Room" space for entertaining family & friends. Each room throughout the house has a wonderful view of the Lake. There is a 42" smart TV that sits on the mantle of a two sided red brick fireplace. The living room features comfortable furnishings, a game table and those unbelievable views of Lake Pepin. The stone patio (with pergola) in front of the house provides more than 300 sq. ft of luxurious outdoor space and has a fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs and a covered picnic table porch. The perfect place to spend quality time together or just take in the beautiful scenery.

The house - (Sleeps up to 10) - 1800 square feet and has four bedrooms & two baths. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, private sitting area with a second TV & that red brick fireplace. This room has beautiful windows that offer an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Pepin and Maiden Rock. The second bedroom on the main floor is also very large and has two queen size beds. There are two bedrooms on the second level along with a second full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed with those amazing views of Lake Pepin in every direction you look. The other upstairs bedroom has 2 comfy twin beds that kids and kids at heart will love!

The kitchen is complete in every respect and features stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops. The kitchen counter has a peninsula that is perfect for gathering around; sitting four for meals or serving guests. The dining room features a large table that can seat 10 very comfortably.

Amazing Views is the perfect place for family or friends to get away to. There is lots of open space, yet privacy for those who choose to go to bed early or sleep-in.

Family wedding weekend

We had a great stay! When we first arrived, the owners came over and greeted us and told us about the farmers market and others things to do. Very clean property, would stay here again. Great location.

Beautiful Home and Location

We have stayed in Lake City many times as it is one of our favorite places to visit and relax but this by far is our favorite place to stay. The house is beautiful and the location couldn't be better, not to mention the hosts are so gracious. The little extras like the yard games and bikes were an added bonus. Great friends + Amazing Views = Perfect get away

Amazing Views was immaculate! The rooms were well appointed and stocked with all necessities. The beds were comfortable, inside temperature was comfortable, and the appliances worked well. Every light switch was labeled, as well as easily understood instructions posted by the fireplace, washer, dryer, and TV. It was the perfect home to connect with friends, relax, and enjoy the view of the river.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Great location with a beautiful view. It was nice to have two places to relax outside. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with any type of pot, pan, utensil, and coffee contraption you might want. The common area was more spacious than we expected, with six of us visiting or watching a movie in comfort. Should we visit Lake City again for a getaway we will certainly come back. Great communication, we had no issues at all while there and Sandy checked in half-way to be sure all was well.

AMAZING VIEWS IS AMAZING

My husband and I just returned from a week stay at Amazing Views and truly fell in love with the house and the Lake City area. Amazing Views is so comfortable for just two people, but lends itself to easy entertaining when you have stay-over guests. Everything is so organized in the house and it is so comfortable inside and out. The views of Lake Pepin are truly amazing. It is so close to the charming town of Lake City. Sharon and John are wonderful hosts and we ended up going on a pontoon boat ride with them as well as some old acquaintances from Rochester, MN. We highly recommend "Amazing Views".

Our group of 6 retired couples rented both Amazing Views and Stunning Views for 2 nights. We all wished we were staying longer, so we have already made reservations for next September. The furnishing are beautiful! The accommodations are charming, clean, well stocked and Sharon is amazing just like her cottages. Both cottages are so charming that you cannot say one is nicer than the other. We had 3 couples in each cottage. We had the early up in the morning group in one cottage, and the sleeping later group in the other. The guys played cards and the gals did our chatting and scratch-offs. We ate out mostly, and of course the Chickadee Cottage was our favorite. Also went to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. Had lunch at Slippery's (Grumpy Old Men movie location). Great mini-vacation.

Truly amazing views!

Our stay was lovely. This home is beautifully decorated and appointed. Our hosts have provided everything a guest could possibly need from extra blankets to kitchen equipment. There was even a lemon zester! The patio overlooking Lake Pepin has plenty of seating, we spent a lot of time there watching the nesting eagles and their eaglets.

“Amazing Views “ definitely earned its name.

My children, adult grandchildren and myself were lucky enough to stay at Amazing Views. The location is perfect for walking almost anywhere in town. Sandy and Eric go out of their way to make sure you have all the essentials you need for your stay. The house is beautifully decorated and roomy enough that our family didn’t feel crowded.

Amazing Views girlfriend weekend

The property was perfect. I have never stayed in any vacation rental as well equipped with kitchen dinnerware, appliances, paper goods etc. as Amazing Views was. It was comfortably decorated in a Lake/Seashore theme that was carried throughout. Was very impressed that they even thought of extra lightweight blankets that we could use when sitting outside on the patio. ( the weather was a little cooler than we expected, so those blankets came in very handy.). The views of the lake and bluffs from the unit were Amazing!!I will definitely tell others about the property and will look forward to staying again in the future. Special thanks to the hosts - Sandy and Eric !!!

Amazing Views is more than just amazing views. This lake home is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. Hi! We are Sandy and Eric Meier and we moved to beautiful Lake City, MN in 2018 to enjoy a slower pace of life. We had a 5 star Bed and Breakfast in Wisconsin called The Meier Inn and a grass fed beef farm. We have also "flipped" 11 homes in the previous 20 years. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to purchase "Dramatic Views" an existing vacation rental from friends of ours. This beautiful home has been a 5 star vacation rental on another booking site for a number of years. We are looking forward to maintaining that same level of quality!
We love to travel, enjoy great food, cook, bake, garden, spend time with our children and grandchildren and spend time boating and fishing on Lake Pepin. We volunteer in our community and have joined a number of organizations. We love our little town and know that you will too!!
