About this property
Creekfront in the Heart of Maggie Valley
Eazy Breezy Cabin is a cozy creekfront cabin in Maggie Valley where you can listen to the rushing water of Jonathan Creek from the spacious patio & are walking distance to all the action in this quaint & festive town. Great fishing spot too!
Maggie Valley is a beautiful & friendly town close to everything you could want to do in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. It's a short drive from Waynesville, Gatlinburg, Asheville, Cherokee, Bryson City, Blue Ridge Parkway & Smoky Mountains.
The Space:
Eazy Breezy Cabin is located off the main road running through Maggie Valley. There are so many things to do in Western North Carolina, and the cabin makes for a perfect home base to see it all. For easy fishing in hatchery supported trout waters, cross the pedestrian bridge over the creek to the park. The season is open from early April until late February the following year.
The cabin is 1900 square feet of thoughtful space with a king master bedroom, a queen bedroom upstairs, and a queen daybed in the loft area. There are 2.5 half baths.
The kitchen is open to the living room and loft area. It is equipped with a full size coffee pot, an electric tea kettle, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and toaster. There is plenty of kitchenware items such as dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and salt/pepper/sugar.
The cabin has high-speed internet. The living room has a 58" flat screen smart TV and both bedrooms have 43" smart TVs. You can sign into your Netflix, YouTube, etc. or choose from a large variety of shows on Samsung TV Plus.
There is a gas fireplace in the living room with timer controls for easy warmth. In the living room hutch there are many board games to play, a couple of puzzles, and a few toys.
Connected to the living room is a laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board, and a folded card table and chairs for additional seating on the patio.
Downstairs there is a king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The king bed is brand new with a Sterns & Foster 14.5 inch mattress. There are two large dressers, a luggage rack, a Smart TV, alarm with USB ports, and a white noise machine. The bathroom has double sinks and a shower.
In the hall of the downstairs is a half bath.
Upstairs there is a queen bedroom with a chair to relax and a computer desk. The bedroom has a large dresser, a closet for hanging clothes, a Smart TV, alarm with USB ports, and a white noise machine.
The loft area has a new queen daybed with comfy queen mattress, computer desk work area, a Ms. Pacman game console, and a small table with games inside.
Between the loft and bedroom is a full bathroom with a shower/tub.
The cabin has a spacious patio facing the creek and a graveled area in the yard with a firepit, firepit benches, and picnic table. There is a grill topper for the firepit. On the patio are two rocking chairs, a table, and a container of firepit tools and smores sticks.
Starter Kit: You will be given a starter kit for your stay which will include dish soap, dishwasher detergent pods, new dish sponge, roll of paper towels, trash bags, unopened toilet paper rolls for each bathroom, individual packs of laundry soap, 2 packets of coffee grinds for full size maker, a few individual tea bags & coffee stir stick packs, and travel size shampoo/conditioner, soap, body wash and lotion. The kitchen has salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil and condiment packets in the refrigerator.
Guest access:
You are able to access all rooms except for a small hall closet and the owner's closet in the master bedroom. There is a closet upstairs for hanging clothes and dressers in both bedrooms.
Other things to note:
Cell Service: Cell service is spotty in all of Maggie Valley. Some carriers do not have service in the cabin. Verizon likely works in the cabin, others might not. There is a landline phone in the cabin for making calls (you may call long distance as well, just not international) or you can see if your phone settings allows for Wi-Fi calling. Another option is adding an app for Wi-Fi calling. If you do not have service in the cabin but want to check your cell phone for voicemails or texts, you might have service when you walk outside the cabin or towards the park across the creek.
Parking: The street is lined with trees. I have uploaded an image showing the street outline (drawn through the trees), two entrances, and approximate parking areas. You can park in front of the cabin or around the side of it (see green squares). When parking on the side, the driveway is single lane as it rounds the corner of the cabin and then widens enough to fit two average size cars side-by-side. There is enough room in front of the cabin to do a 3-point turn, otherwise you have to back up the street to exit the neighborhood. There is not enough room to do a 3-point with a trailer, you must be able to back it up down the street.
Guest Safety: There are fire extinguishers next to the stove & upstairs in the loft on the side of the sofa. There is a first aid kit in the cabinet to the right of the stove but it might not contain all items during your stay as they may have been used before you. The Ring keypad has emergency buttons that will call dispatch in the case of a true emergency.
Please be aware that the cabin is next to a creek and wooded area. There can be poison ivy/oak/sumac, snakes, bears, stumps, rocks, uneven ground, and other things that come with being in nature. Please supervise all children at all times. Only enter hills & creek areas at your own risk, the rocks leading down can be loose or slippery, the dirt area can be slippery and there can be poison ivy and tripping hazards.
