Like new (in 2026) property perfect for a family getaway to the North Shore. The private sauna was excellent and the hosts were very communicative about questions. Our children enjoyed the lofted space above the kitchen as a play area.
Stunning cabins, clean, well appointed. I would highly recommend these cabins to anyone looking for the prefect place to stay while enjoying the Northwoods of Minnesota!
We enjoyed our stay at the Scandinavian Chalet! The property was spacious, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The fire pit and personal sauna were an added plus. Communication with the host was thorough, helpful and timely. The location is in close proximity to restaurants, wine bar and the gondola and alpine slide. We look forward to staying again!
Such a cute and perfect set of cabins for our annual family vacation! Every little detail was thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful accommodations to the personalized recommendations and local suggestions from the owners. You can tell they have poured a tremendous amount of care, time, and attention into these properties, and it truly shows. The cabin’s layout reminded me of a modern Scandinavian summer camp lodge—warm, inviting, and incredibly well designed. Although there was smoke from the Canadian wildfires during our stay, that’s obviously beyond the owners’ control. They were proactive and incredibly accommodating, providing alternative activities and recommendations so we could still make the most of our trip.My family and I had a wonderful stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!
