This was a birthday gift to our grown grandson who is a student at Yale. Planned this trip for a few months. It was so wonderful. The cottage is right on the peaceful water, near wonderful restaurants. Only minutes from the Block Island Ferry. We did it all in three days. Plenty of room and very clean. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.
The property was a beautiful cottage with water views all around in a quiet neighborhood. Steve was a great host and communication was excellent! We were in town for a family wedding in Galilee which was 3 miles from the house. I would highly recommend this property to others.
We had an amazing time. It was for our anniversary/birthday weekend. We went the first weekend in October, off season, so beautiful, we felt like we were the only ones around, it was perfect
This is the perfect “Coastal Grandma” oasis! The location is gorgeous, and so quaint. My friends and I enjoyed all aspects of the cottage- especially being able to see, hear, and smell the ocean so close! The greatest part was we were able to relax but also had plenty of things to do in town. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the host!
Part of me wants to give this property a bad review because it needs to say a secret. The location is idyllic for anyone who loves being by the water. Nearly 360° views of the water made our hearts sing. The property was Immaculate and just as described. We like to walk. It’s less than 2 miles to the beach. A day at Salty Brine Beach, having lunch, cocktails, and salt water taffy were highlights of the weekend. That said, I could just stay at the house and not leave for probably a week and still be happy as a clam. The owner took a little while to respond to a few questions. Other than that, everything was amazing, and I really hope to return to this quaint little area of the country.
This was a beautiful home with spectacular views! Communication with the host was great! The kids loved being right on the water and all of the crabbing ! We didn’t want to leave! Plan on returning next year!
The location is perfect - so quiet, so peaceful. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the salt pond. The steps into the salt pond are easy to use - bring your swim shoes. The kayaking was great. The house was beautiful! Very clean - very nice kitchen. Comfortable seating in the living room. The bathroom is huge and having the washer/dryer was great! The upstairs has fans, as the AC doesn't quite make it up there on hot and humid days. Bring all of your own linens, including towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. We absolutely loved the house and the property owners were very responsive, while not being obtrusive. Perfect spot - absolutely highly recommended! Hope to go back next year!
We live in RI, but spending a week in Great Island, RI felt like we had traveled a thousand miles away. Out the back door of the cottage are beautiful salt pond views, kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming and more. If you are a beach person it is a 10 minute bike ride away, as our the restaurants of Galilee. What a wonderful week!
My family of four-son, wife, 6yr old grand girl, and an infant - joined us for a fabulous week. We kayaked, went to the beach, ate too much and relaxed. It was great to spend time with my family that I can't see as often as I'd like at a location that offer so much. Thank you, Steve!! We plan on coming back next year!

Fantastic location for vacation
Horseshoe Point is an amazing vacation get away. Surrounded by water, this cottage is perfect for a quiet, beautiful vacation. The cottage is well maintained with plenty of space, large windows for gorgeous views, and water access to Salt Pond. We ended up spending most of our time at the cottage instead of going to the beach and spent the days swimming and kayaking right from the property. It was perfect.

Lovely waterfront views and property!
The Cottage was in a great location and owners were great. They had a lovely herb garden available for our use and our small children loved seeing the boats go by. The only down side was there were no fans so without a breeze, we needed to buy a few fans to keep the night comfortable. Also, the beds were different sizes than we thought. It is 2 fulls and 1 queen, so make sure you have the proper bedding. We would visit again in a heartbeat!

Escaped the southern summer heat
Stayed at this cottae to escape the Deep Souths heat and it was great. Cross breezes on the point kept the cottage cool all day and in the night we had to break out the blankets. Days were spent exploring the water and going to the great beaches. Cooking out on the grill in the evening watching the boats going in and out of the bay. This cottage had all the amenities we needed and even more. We have stayed in vacation beach homes up and down the coast and this is one of the best we have found and will definitely be back. If you want peace and quiet, yet plenty to do and see this is a great choice.

Summer Bliss
Last summer we spent a blissful week at this cottage and our boys have not stopped talking about it all year. What a wonderful break from the rat race of life! Every morning we had bacon and eggs thanks to the full and spacious kitchen as we watched the tide roll back in. The cottage is lovely and charming and its location on the water is perfect. We spent the days swimming, flying kites and lounging inside and out in the comfortable surroundings. The cottage is safe and private but still very close to the beach, great restaurants, and awesome sightseeing!

Perfect getaway
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The views are beautiful. It is quiet at night and in the daytime it is great to sit and watch boats and kayak's go by. The cottage is very clean, it has all the amenities of home. The shoping and restaurants are a very short drive away. I highly recommend this property.

This home is truly a gem. I have had the pleasure to stay in the summer as well as the winter. Besides the breathtaking views, the house is spotless, comfortable and well equipped.
Our family enjoyed fishing, clamming and kayaking. We also loved the many choices of beaches and restaurants in the area.

Winter Escape
We rented this home for our in-laws when they were visiting in town...Even in the dead of winter, the home was cozy and the views were unbelieveable. Very close to a number of area restaurants, and grear beaches. I am sure my in laws will be back for a summer weekend!
