The kitchen was fully equipped for what we needed. The place was immaculate and the views -- especially the sun setting over the lake -- were beautiful.
We truly enjoyed our two-month extended stay at this property, which is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with access to walking trails and direct access to Lake Wissota. The house is well-cared for and exactly what we were looking for. The large sunroom offers beautiful views of the water and local wildlife. Julie and Wayne are extremely responsive and made our stay everything we could have hoped for. Thank you for hosting us!

Thank you for your kind words John. It was a pleasure having you this winter and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay.
This entire property was amazing and spotless!!! We are outside people and came up to hike and bike with our dog. The weather was perfect during the day, but it got a little chilly and windy when the sun went down so the 3 season room was perfect!! Our dog loved the yard the endless amounts of squirrels to chase. We're hoping to come back next year!!!
Stay was amazing. Beautiful views! Only thing is the mattresses are not comfortable in kid room for adults haha! Pull out couch came in handy.

Thank you for the review, Lauren. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the view. We apologize the bunk bed mattresses were not comfortable for the adults but we are glad you made it work!
The landscaping, outdoor spaces, and location on the river are exquisite. The kitchen is well equipped with anything needed to cook a simple meal or a holiday dinner. The home is tastefully furnished and comfortable. My favorite room is the sunroom from which I enjoyed views of the garden, river and sunsets. Communication with the owners was easy. It is clear they care about the property and want their renters to have an enjoyable experience.
Breath taking views with huge yard for privacy on the lake! Peaceful and enjoyable. Its so nice they allow pets as well as they have to travel too! Great people to work with as well 💝🤗
Beautiful piece of property. The kitchen with top of the line appliances was amazing. Mattresses on the bunks were a bit uncomfortable for us old guys. Nonetheless we had a fantastic experience at this location.

Thank you for the nice words, Scott. We are so glad you enjoyed the property and amenities. I am sorry to hear the bunk beds were not as comfortable as you hoped for but I am happy you still had a good time.
We are Floridians so wanted to get a little cool air in Wisconsin and visit our family there. We stayed at this lovely lake home and enjoyed a bit of fallish weather with lots of room for our family to come and be with us. Our VRBO hosts were very responsive to all of our inquiries and needs.
Everyone had the best time with day adventures to all the local sites, including a winery and a few breweries. Of course the dock on the lake made every day scenic with picturesque sunsets. It was a wonderful place for relaxing.
Started off our family vacation with our adult children and dogs not having a great place to park our truck/trailer in their U shaped driveway due to an enclosed trailer being parked in the middle of it.The next day i woke up to a message from the owner saying they moved our trailer and would stop back later to move it back which was not ok. I was then asked to water their hanging plants which i didnt do. People showed up twice that day. It not only happened that day but every single day we were there. It was uncomfortable and made us feel like we were being watched and not trusted on their property. Someone mowed twice while we were there with no heads up. Sprinklers were going off during the day. We brought 3 dogs with us that we paid extra for and we like to sit in the yard and to also play yard games. So imagine the mess of not only fresh grass clippings but wet grass clippings. I understand people have to mow their lawns but as a renter I should be able to expect a heads up on when they plan to do it and 2 times was unnecessary. The owner and I did have messages back and forth about things. She replied quick but just made excuses. Told us there wouldn't be anymore interruptions. Then the owner was in and out with his boat by the "private" dock. Also had someone stop to treat the yard for insects. Both happening after we were told no more visits. We made the best of our week but with all the unexpected inconveniences it was not great.
Hello, we are Julie and Wayne and have lived in this area our whole lives. We also live on Lake Wissota and believe this to be the BEST area to live and play. There is so much recreation right out our back door. We love the Chippewa Valley. We are excited to share this beautiful area with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We just love the solitude of this property but also how close it is to everything. The quiet neighbors are super nice. This place has it all. Keep your boat at the dock and ready for when the fish are biting, and/or bring your bikes to explore the miles and miles of trails dedicated to your hiking/biking/snowmobiling fun through Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire.
