Nice cottage within easy walking distance to town. A bit dated, but clean and cosy. The hosts, Andy and Kim, are great. They had everything ready for us and even left a gift of a park pass!
Priced well. Fans were much needed due to the heat! Location was great for all activities and dining. We enjoyed kayaking, trail riding with bikes, lobster boating, and walking. Drove around the island on rainy day!
Great location and walking distance to shopping, great restaurants and bars, harbor, grocery store (for toilet paper-1.5 rolls provided, garbage bags-1 provided, etc.) We were 4 adults sharing the space and only spent the evenings at the cottage. Limited TV stations (not a smart tv) but we were able to use an HDMI cord from the bedroom to connect our computer and tv subscription to main TV. We enjoyed our stay and loved the atmosphere in Bar Harbor, people were very friendly!
Excellent location! Cottage was nicely situated for walking to grocery store and downtown Bar Harbor. Only drawback was it was small, especially if there were more than two people. We cooked a lot and the oven was not user friendly. Thankfully, there was a toaster oven that we used instead. There were plenty of pots and pans and other utensils.
Perfect location. We walked to town, grocery store, and some attractions. Easy drive to park. It was so nice to have Acadia National Park pass included. Plenty of storage in kitchen and rooms. Good fans which we used on hotter days. Good, speedy communication. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, and blanket. So nice to have washer and drying rack. Clothes dried quickly outside in sun. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks!
The property is situated right on the edge of town, just a few minute walk to the restaurants, shops, and ocean. The street is quiet and calm, friendly neighbors, and a quick left or right gets you into Acadia National Park within minutes. The owners are generous and provide a park pass to Acadia, very much appreciated!
The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay; having to air dry clothes ended up being fine. We did need to buy hand soap and garbage bags, not a big deal. A few upgrades in the bathroom would be nice, but overall the cottage was great and we would love to stay again.
It rained every morning with fog with a hurricane due in and left a day early so as not to have to drive out in the hurricane It’s to hard to change plans or almost impossible. We knew far enough ahead to cancel a hotel and that’s what it will be from now on.
Lovely cottage on a quiet street in Bar Harbor. Close to Acadia and everything in town. Was a great home base for our adventures in coastal Maine.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Pictures look nothing like where we stayed. I rented this because of the 2 recliners. There were 2 couches. Beds were fine but need to be turned. The house we stayed in was nice but walking up and down stairs going in and out was painful. Planned our days to go out once come back and go up once. A little disappointed. Very deceiving.
Perfect stay for a trip to Acadia. The location was great for an easy drive into the park. We were also able to walk around Bar Harbor right from the house. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Plenty of space for two people. Would absolutely recommend.
Clean and cozy. Perfect location as a home base for our trip to Acadia National Park. Owner left us a park pass to use for the week. Walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor which was great since we traveled during peak season and parking was not easy to find.
This was a wonderful house, with everything you need to stay a few day (kitchen well stocked, enough room for my family of 3). I can’t state enough how wonderful the location is to downtown. All downtown attractions were a 10 minute walk away. Would stay again!
We loved the location of this home. It’s about a 12 minute walk to main street. Parking is quite difficult on and near Main Street and is $4 an hour. People were parked all the way back to Eden Street so staying in town is a must. It’s also very close to Acadia National Park as well. The home had everything that we needed and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this home!
