Looking for a perfect Table Rock lakeside destination? Well, you’re in luck at the recently updated and completely refurnished “On the Rocks” Cottage. It is a hip and comfy cottage that sits perfectly on the rocks of Table Rock Lake. Whether you’re looking for a restful retreat into the woods or a fun filled family lake vacation, On The Rocks has you covered.

You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a whole new world when you enter our family cottage that comfortably sleeps up to 16. As they say, “location is key”…. and that’s exactly what “On The Rocks” has to offer.

We’re located lakefront in Eagle Rock, in southwest Missouri. Our location is close to a variety of different entertainment options. We’re 10 minutes from trout fishing and hiking at Roaring River State Park, in the Mark Twain National Forest. It is only 15 minutes to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a Victorian mountain village with art, music, fine dining, shopping, night spots, distinctive attractions and worlds of outdoor activities.

Table Rock Lake is almost 70 miles long, and we like to think we are located on the 'quiet side'. Our corner of the world is ideal for wakeboarding and water sports, with plenty of secluded coves for fishing. We are directly across from the Eagle Rock Marina, where overnight slips and boat rentals are available. Feel like taking a boat ride to dinner? The floating restaurant at Big M Marina, about 15 minutes away, is the perfect destination for an evening excursion. You can take off South and West on the lake to visit the Holiday Island Marina and the historic Beaver town suspension bridge. Branson is a 45 minute drive with so many things to do that we can’t even start to list all of them. Also worth mention is the Bentonville/Rogers/Fayetteville metro area, only an hour away. You can check out the new Crystal Bridges Museum of Modern Art, now open in Bentonville, AR. People are traveling from all over the world to not only see the museum but the grounds as well.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We loved On The Rocks Cottage! The house and grounds are beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed relaxing on all of the patios. The extra fridge in the laundry room was incredibly helpful. Easy access to go places nearby. The marina across the lake was great to rent a boat from. There is a path from the cottage down to the water to swim/fish - it’s a little tricky to navigate but once you get to the bottom there is a great flat rock spot in the cove.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY!!!

This cottage was perfect for our family gathering of 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 8. We had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need to cook large meals. There are so many sitting areas outside. The area is quiet and peaceful. You couldn’t ask for better hosts. Chalea was incredible. If you plan on visiting Table Rock lake, this is the place to stay.

Making Memories

On The Rocks Cottage was the perfect gathering place for our group of 14 women. We were celebrating 25 years of annual fondue weekends. We had plenty of sleeping spaces. The beds were very comfortable. Generous supply of blankets, towels, and paper products. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs. We really appreciated the cupboard stocked with many pantry products. The extra refrigerator was a major bonus! The outdoor seating areas and the firepit allowed us to create lasting memories. Chalea was the very best host. Helpful, thoughtful, and quick to answer questions. And a willing photographer when we needed her!

We rented On The Rocks Cottage for our immediate and extended family over the Christmas holiday of 2013. The entire experience was fantastic! The owners decorated the house for Christmas, and were very accommodating! It was such a nice place, and there was a welcome basket waiting, which even included treats for our puppies! The property itself was a beautiful house, and it was so neat to have the bunkhouse as well! The lake view and being right near the water was great as well! We're really looking forward to going back in the summer time to enjoy the lake as well! I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting an A+ experience!

Awesome Home!

This was the perfect place for our family's get together. The 3 sitting areas outside were enjoyed by all. The bunkhouse was perfect for our 4 teenagers to stay in! The little room upstairs fit our 2 little ones to a T! The house had a trail that the kids walked down to the water where they could swim anytime they desired, with a cliff for diving into beautiful Table Rock lake. Inside the main house, the owners have it appropriately lake decorated, outside one the deck areas too! The interior was lovely. There's just too many good details about this home to give it justice in this review. We would definitely come back! The owners were the perfect hosts!

Awesome home! Even better than expected!

My family, some friends, and I all stayed at On the Rocks from 6/22/14-6/28/14 and had a fantastic time! The home was even better in person than in the pictures and the owners worked so well with us. I had a midterm for grad school that week and Chalea checked in to make sure the wifi was working and even checked to see if I passed! Anything we needed they were there for and the home was immaculate! It was extremely clean and in great condition. We loved the separate paths, one down to the cove for fishing and another to a cliff for jumping into the water. Both were awesome! I highly recommend the home, I know we will be back. We had a boat every day, they worked so well with us and were extremely friendly. I highly recommend the home and know we will all be back!!

Home Away From Home

From the get go, communication with Chalea was outstanding! She is warm and delightful! Check-in was seemless and the house is beautiful! Plenty of space for a multi-generational family trip. Ages spanned between13 years old to 70. Enough space for us all. The teens especially liked having the bunk house to themselves. The property is gorgeous with a cove and bluff with-in a short trek down a path. This was definitely a favorite of ours. The open air deck and covered porch with a cup of coffee the made mornings fabulous. Across the lake from the property you can see the marina. We did go there to rent a boat and do some tubing. It was a wonderful experience for us all. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

On The Rocks Cottage is family owned and maintained. Our roots are in South Central Kansas. We landed here 15 years ago, and still can't believe that we're lucky enough to call this area of Table Rock Lake our 'home'. When we arrived in Eagle Rock, we soon realized that everything we could ever want was right at our doorstep.

Why they chose this property

Years back when we relocated to the Ozarks, we had no idea that we would be moving in next door to the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for. Our special relationship and respect for our neighbors prompted our purchase of their property when it was time for them to move on. The renovation and future of On The Rocks Cottage is dedicated to those wonderful neighbors, who changed our lives and taught us how 'truly good' people can be. We will forever hold them in our hearts and miss them dearly.

What makes this property unique

On The Rocks Cottage is an interesting mixture of old and new. The original house was 'business' only, with a kitchen, den, bedrooms and baths. A few years back, an incredible addition was built to tie it all together. The great room addition to the home has vaulted ceilings and a spiral staircase up to a loft (perfect for the kids). A center cooking island ties the kitchen, great room, and dining room together ... perfect for entertaining. We modified the existing den area and turned it into a master bedroom.

The detached bunkhouse, one of our favorite features, is a true throwback to years past. During renovation, we couldn't help but think about the kids who would be bunking there... and the 'lake' memories they'll make and enjoy for a lifetime.

If you're flipping a coin to see which room you'll get, check out the view from the back bedroom. A picture window overlooks the lake and the view is spectacular.

When coming to the lake, most likely your plan is to take advantage of the great outdoors. We have you covered. Between the 2 patio areas, 2 decks, the covered bar and the firepit, there is plenty of room to spread out.
