Thank you for staying at our cottage. Please come again.
Another great year with family and friends during Olde Bristol Days this is the second year in a row we stayed in this lovely cabin nestled in the woods.
The Cottage in the Pines provides very pleasant accommodations in an excellent location to discover the mid-coast area. We stayed for a long weekend and visited the coastal area from Wiscasset to Rockland. The cottage itself is charming with ample space for 4 to sleep comfortably. The place was spotless, and the beds comfortable. Although we ate out during our stay, the kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to cook for themselves. Highly recommended.
A beautiful mountain lodge that is comfortable and enjoyable to be in. Adorable stuffed moose along stairs make it fun. Secluded and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Im happy you enjoyed your stay. It is a very special peaceful place. Please come back!
Our 3rd time staying at this house. Wonderfully quiet location. The house is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The screened in porch came in very handy as it allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even when it was drizzly out. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s so nice to hear from return guests! Im happy that the cottage continues to meet your expectations. We welcome you back anytime.
The house is absolutely beautiful and sits in a very private location in a serene woods setting. It provides access to Boyd pond through a trail- gorgeous. It is close to the beach, lots of places to grab a bite to eat, and all the beautiful coastal sites in the area. We loved the amount of space the house has- each bedroom is a great size. The house has so many features that are wonderful for hosting a family vacation. The only downside for us was how hot it was inside with no A/C. We stayed there during a record-breaking heat wave in July and it was sweltering in the house despite us having all the fans going. Other than that, everything was perfect! The host, Sandra, is so kind and helpful! She is responsive and answered every inquiry I had in a timely manner. She is wonderful!

Im happy you enjoyed our cottage. I am sorry that the exceptionally hot weather made it a bit uncomfortable during your stay. We don't normally experience such warm weather for consecutive days as happened over the 4th. We do try to provide comfort as best we can with the fans we have thru-out the cottage. Please consider us again should you return to Maine.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and well-located for our needs. Boyd Pond offered fantastic fishing. The area is off the beaten track, but amazing and relaxing.

Beautiful and clean home. Very comfortable stay. Thought the water access would be a bit closer but it certainly didn’t ruin our stay! Great location for accessing nature trails, lighthouse, kayaking, dining, and shopping if that’s your thing. Wish we had a few more days for sure!
