Great location

The location was great owner was very responsive in communication. Quiet residential street on the bay. We crossed one street to get to the beach. It was a main road but there is a crosswalk and light so it made it easy. We could easily walk a few blocks to be in all the action of the bars and restaurants.

We had a very nice stay. Very good communication from the owner. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. The location was wonderful. It was quiet and laid back but was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, ice cream, and most importantly a wonderfully short walk to the beach. You have to cross one main street but there is a crosswalk so it is easy. It was a pain having to bring our own towels, sheets, etc. but it seems all of the rentals in the area require you to provide your own. We do plan to go back next year and if it is available, would stay here again.

Great Vacation House in Dewey Beach

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at this townhouse in Dewey Beach. It has a great location between the beach and the bay... views of the bay and a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean! Everything in the town of Dewey Beach is within easy walking distance. The Jolley Trolley stop isn't too far away for a quick ride into Rehoboth Beach too. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and an additional loft area. Lots of decks off bedrooms and family room --- some with views of the bay. Two additional decks off loft at top of house for relaxing and enjoying. It's great that the house is not too close to the road or to the loud establishments, but you can hear the road noise from the decks (not a big deal to us though.) Full, upgraded kitchen with bar stools at counter and big table worked well for us. Lots of parking available with 2 spots under the carport and additional spaces next to the house. From a technology standpoint, house has decent wi-fi and multiple TVs and DVDs... so that all worked well; but the main TV, although a modern, flat screen, is quite small (if you're a TV lover like me.) The owner was very responsive to all of my communications and prompt in addressing any questions or concerns I had about the rental property both before and after booking. The security deposit was returned very quickly after we got back home. All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay at the house and would recommend it to others looking for a great spot at the beach.

Great quiet location!

Lou was great and attentive - texting him was easy and we were able to reach out thruout our stay with any questions that came up. Location is great - its a short walk to the beach and in a quiet location with lots of parking (we had three cars). Its a short drive to the boardwalk which didnt bother us. Overall our stay was great - thanks Lou!

Beautiful house and excellent location

Amazing house - nice living area on the top floor with enough place for 2 families. Great location - it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. Owner is very responsive and communicated all directions well. Stocked with some nice fiction books, had loaned us his beach chairs too. We loved staying the week here and want to come back again next summer ! It’s in a lot of demand and we lucked out booking the only week open this season :)

Perfect Family Vacation!!

We could not have had a better experience! The property was exactly as it appeared in the listing and was clean and ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the tons of space in the very clean and comfortable property. My two daughters loved hanging out in the loft area. The location is great. Just what we wanted!

We were five humans and one dog -- mom, dad, young adult daughter & son, son's girlfriend, and a Great Dane -- and we were all very happy. It was an easy walk to a very nice part of the beach -- adjacent to private beach so somewhat less crowded than other areas. The house had plenty of room for us to be together and apart. We had a great time!
