Our experience at the Bee House was fantastic. It's located close to Trumansburg but is out in the country and very secluded/peaceful. The house is amazing and very cozy. Everything was clean and ready for us. We recommend it and will be trying to stay there again when we come back to the Trumansburg area.

Such a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Large windows overlook lawn, woods and creek and keep the cottage bright. The kitchen is stocked with Shirley's pottery, adding to the charm.Highly recommend!

This is a very comfortable home with many newer furnishings, well-equipped kitchen and lots of local art. It is in a serene, woodsy setting with beautiful views and visiting wildlife. Our hosts were easily accessible and responsive, when needed. Two weeks were not enough to enjoy all that this area has to offer!

The property was EXACTLY as described. It has been years since we stayed anywhere besides a hotel, but staying put in one place is something we will definitely do again. From this location, we explored: Ithaca, Canandaigua, Seneca Falls, Hammondsport, wineries, ciderhouses, waterfalls, and a lot of ice cream stands. It was a perfect vacation.When I couldn't get the air conditioning to work properly, Shirley showed up on my doorstep in less than 5 minutes. She was wonderful.

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location that was close to all of the outdoor activities we wanted to do. The property was peaceful, secluded and relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet Tranquility

Excellent spot and such a beautiful quiet place. So close to cider mills and wineries as well as the center of Ithaca for restaurants and attractions. New favorite spot for a quiet weekend away.

Great stay for Cornell graduation

This property was a tranquil, beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Cornell graduation weekend. It was super clean and very comfortable. It was great to enjoy some quiet time with family in this serene setting.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Our kids (ages 4 and 6.5) loved having a big yard, woods, and creek to explore, and we loved the peace and quiet and connection with nature. The location was perfect for us - rural, but 7 minutes drive to Trumansburg, 20 minutes to the center of Ithaca, and 20-30 minutes to all the hiking and swimming (and some wineries) we could want!

Fabulous weekend retreat near Ithaca

Fantastic location 15 minutes from Ithaca. Beautiful, peaceful setting, layout is perfect for families and small groups. Don't miss quaint Trumansburg! Excellent recommendations from the hosts and Shirley and Rich made us feel very welcome.

Lovely, secluded house

This the perfect place to unwind and still be within 20-25 minutes of Ithaca. Immaculate house and couldn’t be in a better natural setting. Plus the proprietor is lovely and responsive.
