The Beach House - just steps to Brown's Beach

If you are dreaming of escaping from the noise and bustle of everyday life – then let The Beach House welcome you. It provides your ideal Kangaroo Island accommodation where you are 30 steps from the beach, surrounded by bushland.

The Beach House embodies simplicity, comfort and a relaxing beachside atmosphere. With three bedrooms, it accommodates up to 6 people with a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, and two further bedrooms each with two single beds. The bathroom is off the back door but still under the main roof.

When it comes to dinner, there is a fully equipped kitchen or the BBQ just out the front to cook up your favourite meat (or days catch) as you gaze out over the Bay. It’s great to sit outside and sip a G&T watching the sunset, and then have your dinner around the outdoor table, swapping stories of your day’s adventures.

Amenities

The Beach House is well appointed and has:

• Large dining and sitting room overlooking the beach and bay
• TV, stereo with CDs, selection of books & a swag of old fashioned games such as Scrabble and Monopoly
• Slow combustion heater (wood supplied at no additional charge)
• Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, electric oven and stovetop, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses, coffee plunger and teapot
• 3 bedrooms (one Queen and two with two single beds)
• All bed linen and towels provided
• Large bathroom with shower (bathroom is located off front porch through front door but still under the main roof)
• Front porch facing the ocean for sitting out while having your morning coffee
• A wrap around verandah for dining storing the beach toys you may bring with you, or for drying bathers, beach towels etc
• Baby cot & feeding stool (no additional charge - just let us know your requirements)
• Peace and tranquillity in abundance!
• Frequently visiting wildlife

The views are only outweighed by the tranquility. Lovely little home with all the comforts. Although going out to the bathroom was unexpected it wasn't a problem. Would highly recommend this property as an idyllic home away from home.

The perfect relaxing getaway

We loved it here, especially with the beach only a few steps away. We visited during winter and the wood fire kept as warm and cosy. We would definitely love to come back again another time.

Second time around

Our second stay and it did not disappoint. The absolute beachfront and the resident birdlife are key attractions. The property is well equipped and it is easy to get to Dudley Peninsula attractions like Penneshaw and American River.

Superb location

I absolutely loved the location of the beach house. We spent a magical morning out on our paddle board and many other days exploring and beachcombing. Its a very special place. We went in April and were blessed with lovely weather. The kids were very excited when we spotted a seal one evening

The Beach House was the perfect spot for a family. Clean, private and an absolutely stunning location. Access straight to the beach and lovely garden for children to explore.
