About this property
Sixth Street Victorian — Downtown Leadville
Summary:
Sixth Street Victorian is an updated 1880s home on West 6th Street in downtown Leadville, Colorado, a half-block off Main Street (Harrison Avenue). It sleeps up to 6 guests across three separate queen bedrooms — two upstairs and one on the main level — making it well suited to three couples or a small group of friends.
The location is the home's strongest feature: guests step out the door and reach restaurants, shops, cafes, and the Leadville 100 race start/finish within a one-to-two-minute walk, with mountain views from the home and patio. The interior keeps its 1880s Victorian character alongside a full kitchen, a living room, fast WiFi, and a smart TV.
This is a compact historic home rather than a large new-build rental — the layout is efficient, with a single bathroom and no on-site laundry. Self check-in is handled by a smart lock, and rear parking is available.
Lake Turquoise is about 12 minutes away; Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are each about 25 minutes; Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek are 30–50 minutes east. Summer brings hiking, biking, fishing, and 4x4 routes including Mosquito Pass (13,186 ft).
No air conditioning — the 10,152 ft elevation keeps nights in the 40s–50s even in mid-summer. Not pet-friendly. Exterior security cameras on the property. Managed by Traverse Hospitality. Lake County License #001918.

About the host
Hosted by Traverse Hospitality
We (Alex & Nadim) are grateful to be able to offer an outdoor focused community to our guests up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We both love rock climbing, hiking, biking, skiing and spending pretty much all of our free time outside; we were even crazy enough to run the Leadville 100. Our mission is to help as many people as possible discover the magic of the mountains...which is why we founded High Rocky Homes!
We're doing our best to make real estate and mountain access more affordable for EVERYONE!
For our real estate clients, we give half of our commission back to our buyers and sellers, saving them an average of $5,000. This helps our clients furnish a new home or simply reduces the high closing costs associated with buying or selling real estate.
For our property management clients, we offer a service that has no restrictive contracts, a lower commission model and superior performance. This means that more booking revenue goes back to our clients to offset the costs of their mountain homes.
For our guests, we've been working hard to offer more lodging accommodations that are clean, affordable, and full of great amenities set up for active people who want to enjoy the mountains for short or longer term stays!
