Twin Cedars Getaway - Meredith Lodging

Twin Cedars Getaway is an adorable cabin with lots of natural light throughout and bright and cheerful colors creating a relaxing vacation for your family. The fully fenced yard with a large lawn is ideal for your dogs and your kids for running around and playing. Stay cool under the shade provided by mature trees or move the lawn chairs to the sunny areas to soak in the sun's warm rays. With the covered back deck, you can stay close to the cabin and enjoy playing games in the yard, grilling dinner on the BBQ and spending evenings outside with your loved ones. You will be a short drive to all Mt Hood recreation including hiking trails, rivers, lakes and ski runs as well local restaurants and stores.

The simplistic vibe of the décor along with the high ceilings and large rooms all on one level are inviting and warm. The open great room includes a gas fireplace, smart TV, open galley kitchen and a cozy dining nook. Step out to the covered back deck for breakfast or dinner at the patio table or to sit back and relax in the Adirondack chairs. The large wrap-around lawn is provides plenty of room for your dogs and kids to play. Two more Adirondack chairs welcome you to read a good book or share fun stories of your day's adventures. Enjoy your morning coffee and digital newspaper at the café table on the covered front porch.

The first bedroom includes a king bed and 1/2 bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a full shower and rain shower head just across the hall. The new front-loading washer and dryer are in a closet in the large bathroom. The open floor plan and spacious rooms create plenty of room for 4 guests and your dog. Your mature dog over 1 year old is welcome to join you for an additional charge.

You will be 3/10 mile from the River View Cabin for larger groups.

This is a very roomy and comfortable place. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean, aside from the dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. The yard is huge for the dog. Needs a deep cleaning, dog hair and cobwebs in the nooks and crannies around the place. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would stay here again.

Quaint getaway

This house was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do in the Mt. Hood/ Columbia River loop. Literally right off the highway, yet felt very secluded. I personally felt that the house needed some TLC, but it was clean and met our expectations.

Overall the property was beautiful wooded rental. Has an enormous fenced in backyard which was perfect for our two large dogs to roam around in. House is very roomy and comfortable exactly what we’re looking for. Only thing that was a downside was coming back from a outing we saw a random pick up truck in the drive way and fence open.turns out it was landscaping coming to clean but was not notified or asked of any sort of way about the yard work and landscaper was upset we had dogs and rushed him to finish

Excellent weekend getaway for the family and pets

We stayed for a long weekend with our infant and two dogs. This location and house were incredible and we will absolutely use this booking again. The yard is fully fenced in and very, very, large so the dogs had plenty of room to play. The house itself is well cleaned and equipped with all the tools/kitchen utensils/devices youd need. The beds were actually some of the most comfortable weve been in. The location is perfect, close to town amenities and a quick drive to Timberline. Overall, highly recommend.

The house has a huge backyard, great for our dog. The lighting of the whole house could be improved significantly. It feels dark, especially with all the big trees surround it, there's barely any sunlight comes in. The house itself is ok.

The house was very clean and well supplied. The king bedroom mattress was pretty good but the guest bedroom mattress not so much. The front of the house needs some attention and the lighting in the living room isn’t very good, other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Dog Friendly Mountain Home

This property was exactly what the listing says it is. The home is spacious, comfortable, great location, and well-stocked with everything you might need. The best part for us was the MASSIVE backyard. We had 2 dogs and a 4-year-old, who were thrilled with the space and adventures provided by the yard! Overall, I highly recommend this stay (especially for dog people). The only recommendations I have for the owners are to consider getting a different couch and provide excess blankets, but this is more of a recommendation and not a complaint! We had a great trip thanks to this cabin!
