This place had everything we wanted, including great location. Downtown was a quick 7 minute drive. Groceries were 3 minutes away. Golf course, 7 minutes.
I have read other reviews, and while helpful (for the most part) suggestions were offered, we had a great time relaxing after the days activities.

Problematic house
Good: up to date kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Convenient to town & shopping.
Problems: no view of mountains (was promised) only of other suburban houses, no outdoor patio or furniture, yard untended (early in season?), poor lighting and old furniture in the living room.

Hi Martha,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you appreciated the up-to-date kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms, as well as the convenience to town and shopping. The photos of this listing do accurately show that the home is in a wooded area. The views of Leadville in the photos may not be seen right from the home but can easily be seen just down the road, and throughout Leadville wherever you are in town. We will look into improving the lighting in the living room. Your input is valuable to us, and we hope to make your next stay here more enjoyable!
Nice and quiet spot. Plenty of room with a deck out front and back. Windows need screens no ac which is normal here so you need to open the windows. They could use ceiling fans or a few plug in ones to put in the windows to cool things down I bought an extra and it was nice to have in the bedrooms. New carpet and flooring in the kitchen too and mud room was nice for taking shoes off. Big couch and a really nice tv. Honestly a great spot I’d stay there again for sure

Hi Ray, We're glad you enjoyed the quiet and spacious location with its front and back decks. Your feedback about screens, cooling options, and the addition of ceiling fans or plug-in fans is appreciated. It's wonderful that the new carpet, kitchen flooring, and mudroom were positive aspects for you. We're delighted that you found it to be a great spot and would choose to stay again. Thank you!
We really liked the house but there are a few things that would make it a lot better 1) screens in the windows so you can have the windows open and not let bugs in 2) ceiling fans since there is no AC 3) a hose for one of the bathrooms for easier dog bathing. I love taking my dog to CO with me every summer for hiking but I want to bathe her every day after hiking for cleanliness and it is so much easier to have a hose to spray her off inside (the water is too cold outside to do it there). -Mike Kendig
