Sip wine on the patio as the beach life buzzes by, walk to local coffee spots and eateries, or unwind with your pup (yes, we’re pet friendly!). Great for families, small groups, and anyone craving an authentic SoCal experience. Minutes away from Belmont Park, home of the only beachfront amusement parks in San Diego!

Mission Beach delivers it all—surf, sun, roller coasters, boardwalks, and endless SoCal flavor!

Neighborhood:

Fun and funky Mission Beach is a top destination for San Diego Visitors. Mission Beach is in the heart of all the action. Featuring miles of beach and boardwalk. It's the ideal spot to try surfing, rent a boat or bike to explore the area. Restaurants and shops are nearby by along with Belmont Park Amusement Park which features the historical roller-coaster and arcades along with ocean front dining.

No smoking in any form is allowed at the property.

Excellent location with a 1 min walk to the beach or the bay! Hosts are very receptive amd accomadating. Perfect for a family of 3. Parking on weekends takes patience, but is worth it for such a prime location! Would definitely stay there again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. We got in late and had a little trouble getting in the house but was able to get a hold of someone who was very helpful. Pictures suggested an ocean view which did not exist but the location ended up being great.

The good news - the house is in an excellent location (only one block from Mission Beach and the bay) and within walking distance to restaurants, bike rental shops, a laundry mat, and a small corner store. The house is small but we were outside all day, so that wasn't a concern. It has everything a small family or couple might need.The bad news - on the first night, when we were getting into bed, we noticed that the sheets on BOTH beds had blood stains. Not murder scene stains and not bed bug stains, but random splotches here and there. Because it was after hours there was nothing to be done. So, my husband slept on the couch while my child and I tried to find clean sheets (there were no extras) for one of the beds. The next morning I called the property management company who was very responsive about sending out a new cleaning crew and offered to refund me the cleaning fee from my booking. We left for the day and when we came home, all was clean. Since my return I have exchanged several messages with the property management company, Ocean Sands Vacation Rentals agreed to give me a refund (again), and yet, I still have not received a refund.I don't leave bad reviews, especially when an issue is resolved quickly during my stay. But given that Oceans Sand Vacation Rentals offered a refund of my cleaning fee, said that they would process it, and they still haven't, here we are.

Fantastic Location

This property’s location was awesome - only about 1-2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk but far enough away for things to be pretty quiet. Also very close to many bars/restaurants. The home had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy.
