This lakefront cottage has everything you need for a Maine vacation you will never forget, including your own beach!
Swimming, kayaking, BBQing, reading, and relaxing are just steps away. Wake up to gorgeous sunrises, coffee, and loons!

This renovated cottage features a well-equipped kitchen ready for anything from hotdogs to Maine lobster. A large fridge for plenty of cool drinks, a dishwasher so you don't have to, the 5 burner stove or maybe just cook outside on the gas BBQ.

The camp is ideal for a small family. With 2 bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a twin over a full-size bunk bed, there are plenty of sleeping options. The new bathroom has a generous size shower and laundry.

The open floor plan of the main room lets you cook, dine or just relax on the couch, all while taking in the beautiful views of George's Pond and your own sandy beach.
Boaters will like the rock-free beach to land your boat. Oh, and the lake is excellent for fishing ... trout, bass, and perch. George's Pond in June is one of the best lakes in Maine for bass fishing.
The cottage is moments away from a public boat launch on beautiful George's Pond, where you can launch your boat.
Or just kayak out from our beach with the 4 kayaks provided for your enjoyment.
We offer the best of a Maine lakefront 'camp' experience but with the conveniences of a modern home.

The property is right on the lake. Just a couple of steps and you are on the dock or in the water. The owners were great. It is the best stocked vacation rental that we have ever stayed in. Very, very clean and as a bonus they have 4 kayaks and the fishing was fantastic.

Wonderful place to spend a week in Maine for our family of 4! Well appointed cabin right on a beautiful lake. We had 4 kayaks and life jackets to use while we were there - there’s a diving board out in the middle of the lake that you can paddle to! It was an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Great hiking right in the vicinity of the cabin too - highly recommend the Schoodic Mountain hike and then a picnic/swim at nearby Donnell Pond. Tim was so great to communicate with and he has an awesome helpful guide for groceries/restaurants/hikes nearby. I would highly recommend this place!

The home was very clean and well appointed!The setting was beautiful with amazing sunset and sunrise views! The host Tim was very quick to respond with any questions we had and he also had many good ideas for things to do and places to dine. Would highly recommend this stay! This property was perfect for us! The property is cute and roomy enough for 2 couples. We loved the access to the kayaks and the clean waterfront. This place was the most well stocked rental property I’ve stayed at. There was laundry detergent, extra toothbrushes/toiletries, pans/dishes, spices, towels, floaties, etc. We loved having a fire each night. We also had some cute animals, from the neighborhood, visit us including a dog and cat. Access to laundry was amazing. The only unexpected thing was there are tons of little gnats this time of the year on the lake that made their way into the property. Thankfully we had brought a bug zapper which was a huge help. This is no fault of the owners, but would’ve been helpful to know as we would’ve brought a few more bug zappers and/or sticky traps. Maybe something worth keeping available. Otherwise the we loved everything about our trip! The owner is kind and prompt to respond. Thank you for having us.

Heavenly honeymoon!

The location is amazing, quiet, peaceful, relaxing! We were close to Bar Harbor and Acadia but able to empty the pace and serenity off the lake that sits at your back door. Beautiful accommodations and very comfortable bed. This place made for an amazing honeymoon!

Two Loons was a fabulous vacation spot

We had the best time at the two loons camp on vacation. The pond was beautiful and the camp had everything we needed. The visiting dogs from other camps were a sweet bonus. If I get a chance to come back to this area I would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We had a great visit to Two Loons! The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals (yay for a nice grill!) and everything needed to enjoy the lake - 4 kayaks, fishing rods and life jackets. We heard the loons everyday and saw a Bald Eagle. My kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock.

Cozy cottage

This was our first trip to Maine and we loved this cute and cozy cottage. It was clean and welcoming. Our favorite part was the dogs next door that came to hangout everyday! Great place for a small family. Our daughter enjoyed it.

Wonderful stay at Two Loons on Gorges Pond

Camp was super clean , well equipped kitchen and very comfortable. The pond is so clear & beautiful. The loons on the pond were a pleasure to take pictures of & listen to their call. Fantastic Stay

Our stay at Two Loons was great and overall was a good location to what we wanted to see and do during our visit. The home was a good size for our family of 3. It was refreshing staying in a VRBO that actually had everything we would need (as listed). We loved waking up every morning to the relaxing sounds and views over George’s Pond. We are going to recommend to everybody we know to stay here during their Maine visit and if we ever make it back to Maine we’d love to stay there again.

Perfect spot in Maine

My eldest daughter and I had a wonderful time here! The cabin is clean, cozy, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and then some. We arrived late our first night to the sound of frogs and loons We enjoyed our mornings and a few afternoons just lounging around the cabin and taking stock of some wildlife (bald eagles, mama duck and ducklings) and it was the PERFECT base for exploring Acadia and Bangor as well. The owner responded to any questions very quickly! We would definitely come back and stay again- absolutely perfect

Hidden treasure on a little pond in Downeast Maine

Spent a week exploring the Downeast area in Maine. Each day we returned to our rented cabin on a little pond with all the comfrents of a modern day home. Spent down time exploring the pond, watching a the wild life and enjoying the great weather. Enjoyed your comfortable cabin so much we are going to plan another trip to the area in the future.

Great vacation

We just came back from an amazing time in Maine . The pictures don’t due justice to the amazing views the cabin provides of the water. We love waking up and having a cup coffee and just admiring the quiet and beautiful views. The cabin is equipped with almost everything you can need. Tim was great to work with and helpful. It was nice to be away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but close enough to go if wanted to go . The cabin was nice and clean plus it was great having the water just a few feet away,the water was so clear and the kids love jumping from the dock. I would recommend this cabin any day. We hope to come back wanted to,

Stunning views!

Cute as a button and well thought out in maximizing space and comfort ability. Waking up to that view everyday was such a treat. Peaceful, non fussy place. A little off the beaten path. But totally worth the little drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia. Made our first trip to Maine very special. And made us want to come back when we have more time. So much to see and do. And everywhere you look, looks like a postcard. Ahhhh!!!

There is an abundance of wildlife on the lake. You will see and hear loons, ducks,eagles and osprey.
You probably won't want to leave the pond but if you do there are plenty of day trips you can take to explore all of Downeast Maine.
