About this property
Acadia SummerHill Log Cabin-charmingly unique, cozy and quiet, a true hidden gem
Our log cabin is located in a quaint coastal fishing village on the northern coast of Maine; a haven for photographers, hikers, cyclists, kayakers, birders, golfers, and explorers. It is often described as a "hidden gem". Our cabin is unique and allows you to feel like you are truly away from your busy lifestyles. It accommodates 2 adults/ 1 child with a queen bed and double bed in the loft. We like to consider our cabin as "basecamp" for all of your adventures while here in Maine...the cabin is a comfortable place to "hang your hat" after a day spent outdoors. The cabin is very clean and simple and private, and allows you to feel the character of Maine. It is a perfect cabin for an active couple looking to explore the outdoors of Maine during the day, and return to a quiet cabin at night. We encourage you to sit by the outdoor fire at night, and listen to the ocean hit the rocky coast in the distance. We also recommend a walk to the harbor at sunrise to watch the working lobstermen and to view the beautiful sunrises. Acadia National Park (Schoodic Peninsula) is a short 10 minute drive from the cabin and provides breathtaking views of Cadillac Mtn. This is the quiet section of Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is a 50 min drive. All sections of Acadia are well-known for hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, or just enjoying a quiet picnic by the ocean. All of this is just minutes from the cabin. Or you can simply relax on the porch of the cabin and listen to birds while reading a favorite book. Life is simple in Corea by the sea, and we hope that you will come to visit us and truly have an enjoyable vacation. The owner, Bea, was born in Bar Harbor, and she appreciates her unique property and enjoys providing you with all of the local knowledge you need, and she will make sure that you are enjoying your stay. After all, this is her special homestead... she welcomes all happy people!

The cabin was lovely and had all the amenities that I required. Kim, the hostess, was wonderful. It was quiet and secluded and exactly what I needed to get away from the world for a bit. I would definitely stay there again!
If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape in Maine, this is it. The cabin itself was immaculate and so peaceful. We loved watching all the wildlife friends that came and went, but what really made the trip special was the host. We had the pleasure of meeting Kim, the host. She was so helpful with providing activities and restaurants to visit around the area. Just truly a kind individual. Plus, Corea itself is filled with some of the nicest people my wife and I have met. Such a nice little area to visit. I suggest you book this place for your next Maine adventure before everyone else finds out about it!

Thank you so much! We are so glad you had a wonderful time!
Hi Matthew,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our cabin. I know this was your honeymoon! We are sorry that you had foggy weather during your entire stay in Corea.
Almost every guest that we have seems to really enjoy the cabin and we normally get 5/5 stars.
Is there anything in particular about the cabin that we could improve or was it just the foggy drizzly weather?
Thank you again,
Kim
Our stay in your home exceeded expectations with the location being so peaceful. Everything about this property was exceptional, as was the level of communication with the owner. Thank you so much as we are already planning a longer stay next year!!

Thank you so much. So glad that you enjoyed it! We appreciate your feedback and very much look forward to having you stay here again next year. All the best, Kim
Great place to stay--away from the busyness of the main Park with comfortable accommodations, surrounded by beauty and quiet. We enjoyed the cabin, the gift shop across the street and Lunch on the Wharf! Cabin was just as described on the site.
My husband and I had a great 3 night stay. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking and biking in Acadia. Kim was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely would stay again.
