A very grand historical home that sits overlooking Lake Michigan. The screened in back porch is a perfect spot to sit and listen to the lske and the birds with a cup of coffee. And the owner was so very helpful with ideas/suggestions of restaurants etc in the area to try. Can’t wait to return.

The Orchard House is incredible. The private beach is what vacation dreams are made of. Our kids loved to swim while others in our group preferred to enjoy the natural beauty from the upstairs deck with the posted spectacular view. Drinking coffee on the screened porch and a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset are just a few awesome moments of our trip. Amazing Girls' Weekend!

We celebrated a bachelorette party over memorial day weekend at the adorable Orchard House. The heating system kept up well during chilly evenings and Eve had the house stocked with all the necessities, and more! The property is so peaceful and the private beach is excellent. We loved the charm of this house and the fact it has been in the owner's family since it was built. The beds were SO comfortable as well. I would love to come stay again!

Family week on Lake Michigan

The location of Orchard House can't be beat. Right on Lake Michigan, with private stsirs to the beach. The home is a lovely and historic house with plenty of common spaces, both indoors and out. Would definitely come back!

Unique, memorable and fun spot to call home for a few days while in Michigan for a wedding. Was able to host extended family for a beach day while there. Communication from property owner was great, enough space to sleep 9 comfortably. A great find!

Charming Historical Home

My family enjoyed staying in this delightful historical home. It has so much character and has been well maintained by the owners. A real gem on the Lake MI shoreline. The host was very responsive to our questions and the welcome gift was a nice surprise!

Charming Old House

Wonderful views of Lake Michigan right off the back porch and very nice beach with built in shade trees. Great rock hunting! House is full of charm and history. Loved sharing this place with family and then friends.

Fantastic family home, easy beach access

My family and I had a great stay at this property. Plenty of rooms for sleeping and big open hangout areas when in the house. Getting to the beach was a breeze with a few flights of stairs. Communication with the owner was clear and helpful with recs for food places and last minute questions about the property. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house and views with great host

First of all, the house is a beautiful old home with lots of history. Everything is so comfy. The view is really gorgeous. But the highlight for me was the host. Eve was really responsive throughout the experience, starting with questions I sent before I booked. She left a lovely welcome gift. I ended up needing emergency surgery while there, and she was so helpful with logistical problems from that. I will definitely return to this property.
