The property was very clean and in a beautiful surrounding. The host was very cordial and full of information about the area. If I had one suggestion, it would be so beautiful if they hired somebody to create a short stairway of like railroad ties to get down to the creek. Then clear a few of the trees/brush away and set a bench to sit on, to listen and watch the creek flow by.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spruce Ridge Cabin. The cabin was super clean and well decorated with beautiful rugs and comfortable furniture. It was just as described in the listing, even better! It was cold and rainy while we were there but we were able to relax in this cozy cabin with plenty of large windows to enjoy the beautiful trees and views surrounding it. We enjoyed the llama that liked to hang around and watch us. The host, Dan, was very accommodating and attentive to our needs but not at all intrusive. This cabin is very private and yet the host is close by and easy to contact for any needs. We felt very safe here and the peace and quiet just can’t be beat!
The cabin is lovely, perfect for a weekend hangout. The decks face into the woods, there are lots of blankets and a pellet stove for extra warmth if needed. The kitchen is well stocked and the hosts are lovely and available if something is needed. Absolutely would return.

Thank you. We enjoyed having you, and hope you will come back sometime.
The host greeted me when I arrived and gave me a tour of the cabin. The cabin was warm, inviting and frankly perfect. I especially loved all the windows. It was very very peaceful. I will be booking again.
Could not have been better! We had breakfast on deck each morning with only the sound of a creek running nearby. Clean and well furnished cabin. Great host
We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The cabin is perfect! It had everything we needed and the hosts were amazing! The location is super quiet...all you can hear is the creek. It was a great place to unwind and relax. Highly recommended!
We had an excellent stay at the cabin. Very clean and secluded setting. There are hiking opportunities in nearby Salida and Buena Vista. Two National Parks just over an hours drive away.
We had a great time in the area.
everything was very clean and very nice and i really enjoyed my stay here. there was a lot of room but it also felt really cozy. even though there wasn't internet during our stay, we still had plenty to do. it was really nice and i would come again 100/100 times.
Cabin is in a very nice location looking out over woods and stream. Quite comfortable. Dan is a welcoming host and great communicator. Highly recommend.

Very nice secluded place that has been well cared for and kept very clean.
We really like the feeling of being in the woods. We have rented large and small places in Colorado for 23 years and we will come here again.
Cabin was decorated with mountain/animal motif all very well coordinated. The setting of the cabin was ideal and the views from all the large picture windows. We really enjoyed sitting on the three decks listening to the Aspen leaves fluttering in the wind and the gurgling of the creek.
We loved our stay, although too short, at the cabin. Dan met us upon our arrival and explained everything there was to know about the cabin. The surroundings are private and peaceful and the San Isabel National Forest is a simply beautiful backdrop for the cabin.. can’t wait to come back for a longer stay next time.
Dan could not have been more gracious. Cabin was clean and just as described. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for sharing your beauty with my family. Truly a special and remote getaway.
Was looking for someplace with no people, but close enough to go do things. This was it. Yes, the owners house is about 200 ft away but can hardly see it for the trees in-between. Super nice people. If your looking to get away from it all, this is it.
