Beautiful Lake - Ok accommodations

The accommodations were ok, the campground was full-time residents/permanent campers with structures. Everyone knew everyone, except us, but were friendly. Accommodations were dated and limited cooking/dining items; however, a coffee pot, toaster and microwave were provided. Linens were furnished, but any specialty items need to brought by you. Overall an ok experience.

Not as advertised

Look closer at the pictures. The cabin is literally surrounded on all sides by permanent campers. There is no privacy! You are in the middle of a crowd! The cabin was clean but, in a state of disrepair. As mentioned in a previous review, the water heater is in need of replacement. The care taker is fully aware of the situation. Bath tub has unsightly rust stains - just gross. Floor isn't level, door has large gap between threshold. Wifi is week and, bandwidth is sucked up by other users on same router. If you were looking for a quiet lakefront getaway type cabin - with unobstructed views of the lake, this isn't the place. Only if you're in a pinch and, don't mind the detractors mentioned above should anyone consider staying here. Sad, cause with a little fixing up, it wouldn't be too bad.

Will never use vrbo or evole for our needs again

There was NO hot water during our entire stay, I contacted the property manager every day trying to rectify the situation and to avail. We had to leave early because we could not shower. The sheets were dirty feeling like they had not been changed in some time. When I spoke with vrbo they said they had no control over the hot water and I needed to contact envole and the only contact that I had was the property manager and had already been in contact with him with no results. Complete waste of money and our vacation.

Amazing getaway safe and peaceful

I booked this trip for my husband's grandmother I let her pick this house and we took her last week. The property owner is amazing he is responsive. I had called him because we got there 10 minutes earlier than checking just to let him know that we were there and he actually came down and opened the door for us showed us how to get the key. Anything we needed it was in the house. I don't travel often so didn't even consider taking toys for my 3-year-old but when we got there they were actually toys in the house and she loved them. It was clean the access to the lake was literally right in the backyard. Everyone was friendly. I saved his phone number and will be booking again soon. I give 5 out of 5 stars I can't wait to go back thanks so much!!!
