But you may be interested to know that plans are in the works to add more storage, amenities, and functionality soon. In fact, this fall I am adding a washer & dryer, a bigger shower, and making more improvements. So check in again next season! Thanks again for taking the time to review.

We do have a pair of bald eagles that spend much of the year there at Medomak Pond, and it's always a thrill to be sitting out on the dock and see one glide overhead! We share the property with the beavers, porcupines, raccoons, deer, loons, woodpeckers, hummingbirds - and of course the chipmunks! So happy you had fun.

And thank you for letting me know about your experience with T-Mobile. Guests often ask about cell service, and since I have good service there with Verizon, it's helpful to have information about other providers. We look forward to better service from all providers in the future, as Maine keeps improving its broadband and cellular coverage. For now, it's just part of the "get away from it all" appeal!

Thank you for taking the time to review my property, I'm so happy you enjoyed staying there. It's the perfect spot to get "back to nature" and also be close to so many Midcoast attractions. I do try to make sure the reasonable rental rate reflects the true value of the stay, so the cost of satellite internet is prohibitive. We love the place for its simplicity and location, just a stone's throw from the shoreline. That being said, we are raising and improving the cottage even more this winter. And we are petitioning for broadband on our private road, and hope to get it in the near future.
